Very weird interaction with @Bell_Support last night. They send me their latest fibre modem to install which was not receiving a signal. I called and was told that there was an outage in my area that could last 24-48 hours.

I’ve just spent another hour chatting with @Bell_Support about changing our plan as I try to give them more money for services that should be half as much and I finally reached the boiling point. How can a billion $$ services company be so anti-customer-centric? #bell #useless

I decided to plug in my old modem and within a minute I could get a signal. Why would the @Bell_Support representative (who went by the name of "Belle" [really}]) tell me there is a major outage?

@Bell I'm not even a Bell customer just someone trying to do the right thing as I'm sure the line will give way with the tension it's under. And you don't seem to care - absolutely fascinating exercise in how not to care for your customers.
