Bell Canada Issues Reports Near Chestermere, Alberta

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Chestermere and nearby locations:

  • Skycaptin5 Jason Stettner (@Skycaptin5) reported from Calgary, Alberta

Looks like we’re set to leave @Bell as their phone support has been awful and they offer us the same pricing as those getting a plan for the first time despite decades with ‘em, great company! Am excited to get Unlimited now though

  • newsmanbluesman Reg Curren (@newsmanbluesman) reported from Calgary, Alberta

And #telecommunications companies wonder why they have a reputation issue...do better @Bell

  • Making8 Adam J. Humphreys (@Making8) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@JayBeeGooner @TELUS Yep, 100 down difference max which is pathetic. @Bell says they won’t charge a premium until March 31st. If it’s not GBps it’s not really true 5G.

  • boozereviewsca Booze Reviews (@boozereviewsca) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@outcast_brewing @Bell @Bell_Support Hopefully you get a resolution or an answer too. May need to reach out to Loyalty support to get some answers if reg support cant give you anything

  • boozereviewsca Booze Reviews (@boozereviewsca) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@twittem @Bell Yeah.. As much as Im waiting till June 20th... Im probably not going to Rogers. They screwed me over years ago. Never looked back from dropping their awful service

  • ChrisMo96328267 OilersWintheCup (@ChrisMo96328267) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@CoachBombayy @Bell Back when they were Wind, the service was not good but since they got more towers and don't have to piggyback on other carriers,it's a lot better. You can get full service in most of Canada, also roaming is free on some plans

  • brandibelliveau Brandi (@brandibelliveau) reported from Calgary, Alberta

6 months of dealing with a @bell billing issue & I get 2 useless agents in 1 day. 1st one tells me to go to a Bell store to have them fix it. 2nd one tells me I have to phone every month to have a fee reversed that I shouldn’t be paying.... for the next 21 months 🤬

  • Trevorglove Trevor Fedan (@Trevorglove) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Bell_Support you never address my situation

  • ChrisMo96328267 OilersWintheCup (@ChrisMo96328267) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@MikeCous1neau @CoachBombayy @Bell I've never had a problem with Freedom, been with them for 10 years, when they were Wind Mobile then changed to Freedom

  • twittem Edward McIntyre (@twittem) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Bell_Support As mentioned in my previous tweet - I have spoken with them 3 times and the terms are still incorrect. Telling me to continue down a path that doesn't bring resolution is not moving the issue forward.

  • frederickshauna Shauna Frederick (@frederickshauna) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Xplornet please help me understand how the cost of our internet service in @RockyViewCounty has increased 30% in 2 years. The speed/service certainly hasn’t changed. I can get faster service tethering off my cell with @Bell #ruralinternet

  • boozereviewsca Booze Reviews (@boozereviewsca) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@outcast_brewing @Bell @Bell_Support Phone support is closed or has very limited hours on Sunday too if I remember correctly

  • TommyChong840 Commie Tommy Chong (@TommyChong840) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@boozychef @scottdellinger @_LaineyBoggs_ @TELUSsupport @Bell There are some trade-offs like paying a fee for all changes and many human interactions with them. If you can get by with just self-service and don't make many changes it's probably fine.

  • KSphotobug Kelz (@KSphotobug) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Bell_Support So apparently Bell calls it Advanced Messaging. But only picks certain phones to allow to have it. Funny Bell call themselves the best mobile network in Canada & then chooses who to provide features to. Perhaps it will be time to switch in Feb when my contract is up.

  • WerdEmUp TV's Dr. Ew {blue check mark} (@WerdEmUp) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@CharlieAngusNDP @Bell_Support Hi, data costs less than pennies a month above what limited service costs. In many cases it actually costs them more to limit the data rather than make it unlimited. Wired and cellular. Needs Regulation. The public deserves protection from these extremely profitable companies.

  • TommyChong840 Commie Tommy Chong (@TommyChong840) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@boozychef @scottdellinger @_LaineyBoggs_ @TELUSsupport @Bell I have a Rogers small biz plan. I thought I was going to cancel it but they've really stepped up their game so I actually signed a contract.

  • boozereviewsca Booze Reviews (@boozereviewsca) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@twittem @Bell_Support Talk to loyalty support... Maybe they can escalate it

  • TommyChong840 Commie Tommy Chong (@TommyChong840) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@boozychef @scottdellinger @_LaineyBoggs_ @TELUSsupport @Bell More like $10 for this 25 for that and 75 for this other thing. They can really soak you on the one-time fees. If you never need to make changes or get help from a person it can be a lot less than the big 3.

  • ericskilling Eric 🍕🌞🎉 (@ericskilling) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@masonhastie @Bell I’ve never dealt with @bell as they really overcharged R’s cell phone bill when she had a feature phone. One more reason to never use them.

  • DrAlbino Elisabeth Stenger (@DrAlbino) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Bell @Bell_Support so incredibly frustrated by getting disconnected for a fourth time trying to resolve a mistake on my bill. After 16 years with you as a cell provider I am being treated like garbage. No customer service, treated rudely by one agent and not close to a solution.

Bell Canada Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • indian_toronto Tharuthalai (@indian_toronto) reported

@Bell @Bell_Support Wife (existing bell customer) called Bell to see if she can get a better deal (aka pay less) on Fibe Internet and the rep tried to upsell her for a higher bandwidth for just $5 more. Is this customer centric or Bell centric?

  • troymore Troy More (@troymore) reported

Why is it that when @bell screws up it's the customer who has to do the work to fix it? Do they offer any compensation for the hassle and extra work? Of course not.

  • Druski27 Curly0007 (@Druski27) reported

@PPistone That’s racing Pete. I feel bad for @bell I do and I’m not saying the move is okay, BUT Dale Earnhardt hit a seagull at Daytona. We didn’t suspend the seagull. We don’t suspend the guy that causes the big on at talladega because there were innocent playoff drivers involved either.

  • Do_Good_Stuff Tracie (@Do_Good_Stuff) reported

@Bell_Support dealing with your agents who are completely rude. How do I log a complaint and get support?

  • l_soroka zh 💙💛 (@l_soroka) reported

@Bell_Support internet outage in etobicoke, have troubleshooted already so it seems to be on your end. any idea of duration/what's going on?

  • Linds9293 Lindsay S (@Linds9293) reported

Hey @bell. My 77yo mother in law has been without her landline for 4 days. You keep giving her a timeline to fix it but not fixing it. The landline is supposed to be reliable and keep her safe!!! Help!

  • PeterChristofi3 Peter (@PeterChristofi3) reported

@Ryan_r_Williams Speaking for my father...who is almost 70 years old and has just a flip phone gets charge 13$ from @Bell cause the phone uses 0.7 - 1.00 MB a month. Bell's solution was for my dad to spend 2.5$ a month to block data and not tell him to go in phone settings to click "no data".

  • 4Scarrs_Gaming Jon Scarr 🇨🇦🎮 (@4Scarrs_Gaming) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Basel_Sabbagh @Bell @Bell_Support Oh wow. Hopefully they fix whatever the issue is and get you back up and running.

  • IiInates Nate Mcpherson (@IiInates) reported

My biggest mistake of 2022 was switching from @Bell to Rogers. @Bell you're about to have a new customer again!

  • rwanchoo Rohit Wanchoo (@rwanchoo) reported

@Bell_Support being told by your support exec that Wi-Fi pods are meant to connect to router via wifi only and not over Ethernet. Either your support executive is naive or not properly educated on Wi-Fi pod devices. FYI, one of my wifi pod is connected to router over Ethernet
