@hkimia @Bell It is unfortunate because if I cancel my contract (that has expired) I can get the phones for cheaper. I like @bell but I’m not willing to be insulted by them and pay almost twice as much as their competition.

@davevanman @hkimia @Bell It’s stupid. I’ve been with @Bell for over 15 years and they don’t even want to offer me what a new to @Bell client would get.

Imagine calling @Bell about re-upping the contracts for my two phones and they offered me less than a new customer would get and almost twice as much as a competitor because that was just my reality.

Still no help from @Bell @Bell_Support Turns out, customer support is provided by a private company in the Philippines who have no ability to connect with the crew working on the outage @CP24. Now day 8 with no fax in our medical office and apparently will be fixed by Oct 26!!

hey @Bell_Support I just called your help line and it's gross that you had them try to upsell me into both buying more services and upgrading mine they're already dealing with pissed off customers, that's not an ideal time to upsell, you're only pissing off customers more

@Bell I really do not appreciate your reps upselling me when I call in to cancel an extra account that was created due to a mistake made by your reps in the first place.

@Bell_Support We have been without internet for 10 hours now, customer support said for people in North York it will be until 10pm TOMORROW. At least admit there's a massive outage.

@peternowak @Rogers @Bell Set her up with Ooma. VOIP, about $5/month, $10 for the premium service. She keeps her #, and uses her phone exactly the same as she does now.

Y'know, internet and cellphone services get a lot of attention for being ripoffs in Canada, but let's talk about home phones. My 80-year-old mom is currently paying @Rogers $65 a month for a landline. Basic service from @Bell is $52, but add any feature and it's $67. 1/3

@peternowak @Rogers @Bell Big fan of landlines but the pricing is definitely harsh. Moved from Telus to Shaw to save a lot of money overall (cable, internet, landline). Did not hurt that Telus remains one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with in my lifetime.
