  • thenthereskeith K McCallum (@thenthereskeith) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell is there an internet outage in Toronto?

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

Today I had to work tethering off my phone because @Bell pushed an update to their modem. The internet is so bad in Bolsover along the Trent Severn - Bell’s own hardware couldn’t support it. When I asked what could be down I was given 3 options from @Bell_Support.

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell @Bell_Support Option 2 was that we buy ANOTHER internet line to come to the house. That way we could pay close to $200 a month just for 5mbsp speeds - but that still doesn’t solve the speed, inconsistency or reliability issues It just means the internet in the house is divided between devices

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell @Bell_Support 1. We just wait. Apparently some folks in the area are marked as getting a change in service. The address they gave me? An abandoned farm across the road. They couldn’t say what the change was so I could ultimately be waiting just for the farm to be activated again.

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell_Support @blerghhh Is there still an outage for Kawartha Lakes? Business Internet has been down all morning.

  • thenthereskeith K McCallum (@thenthereskeith) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell_Support is there an outage in Toronto? Wifi down.

won't be able to stream tonight... my wifi is literally the worst istg @Bell you're my 13th reason. /j

  • PingRD Ross Derewianko (@PingRD) reported

hey @bell and @Bell_Support, why are plans built to treat existing customers as 2nd class? E.g. Posted rates are unavailable to existing because its not a new activation. Why not treat all customers equally? Guess i'm shopping for a new carrier again.

@DPocroianu @Bell I hate those ads. I thought, I'll get some help. Only to find that no help exists. There is no universal healthcare in Canada. It's gone.

  • dm_mathieson duncan (@dm_mathieson) reported

@SnotWallet @Bell I’ve never been more infuriated by an ad in my life.

  • FylanDillier Dylan Fillier (@FylanDillier) reported

@Bell Too bad you can’t even load a game on my ‘ultra high speed’ because that’s the ‘best’ you offer where I live

  • GrizzleIV Kody (@GrizzleIV) reported

@TorontoUltra @Bell My #strengthinthenorth @bell winning moment was winning the control after being down 2-1!

  • Myxlplyxa Myxlplyxa (@Myxlplyxa) reported

@Bell I shouldn’t need pods to get wifi in my average size house. I never did before. I’ve had Fibe since it became available in my area. I still have the same package but now within the last year my wifi won’t reach areas that it always used to.

  • Shrdlu Etaoin Shrdlu (@Shrdlu) reported

@Bell Bloody ripoff. I hope no one is stupid enough to pay you jerks $180 buck a year when they can accomplish the same thing for a one-time cost of $40.

  • YoungGunn_6 Young Gunn (@YoungGunn_6) reported

@RightFPS @Bell My fiber cord is broken I have to get a new 1 tomorrow from a technician I guess
