@Bell @Bell_Support Option 2 was that we buy ANOTHER internet line to come to the house. That way we could pay close to $200 a month just for 5mbsp speeds - but that still doesn’t solve the speed, inconsistency or reliability issues It just means the internet in the house is divided between devices

@Bell is there an internet outage in Toronto?

@Bell_Support @blerghhh Is there still an outage for Kawartha Lakes? Business Internet has been down all morning.

@Bell_Support is there an internet outage in Ontario? Can’t get modem to connect

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Sonic_counselor @Bell @LaurieScottPC Not sure where you are located but we’re in the same boat. Had no internet for the day when Bells hardware failed to update needing faster speeds. Got told I could spend 8k a month for better service otherwise I’m at the mercy of Bell. It’s sad how rural Canadians are treated.

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

Today I had to work tethering off my phone because @Bell pushed an update to their modem. The internet is so bad in Bolsover along the Trent Severn - Bell’s own hardware couldn’t support it. When I asked what could be down I was given 3 options from @Bell_Support.

@Bell_Support is there an outage in Toronto? Wifi down.

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell @Bell_Support 1. We just wait. Apparently some folks in the area are marked as getting a change in service. The address they gave me? An abandoned farm across the road. They couldn’t say what the change was so I could ultimately be waiting just for the farm to be activated again.

  • EsteveMurray Stephen Murray (@EsteveMurray) reported

Not only did @Bell report a year over year increased profit of $889M in Q4, they were also happy to take $123M from the Canada Emergency Wage Subsidy program meant to help struggling companies through the pandemic. All before firing over 200 people. #BellLetsTalk about that.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@kwetoday @Bell Interesting. Interested to find out why service was denied. Let's say it was due to the credit check, I believe there also exists the option for a deposit. Surely this would have been mentioned. No? Unsure what they mean by, "masked the credit check". 1st time I hear this term

  • EmmaAnnKD Emma (@EmmaAnnKD) reported

@kwetoday @Bell this is SOOO messed up. I'm currently in a fight with Rogers, not as bad as this but cell phone companies continue to just break the rules. 😡

  • Tic_Tock Tic-Tock (@Tic_Tock) reported

I've been waiting for a long time ... 3 different consultants ... they don't know what to do, can someone really help me? or would it be better to cancel the service? @Bell @Bell_Support I've had a very slow internet
