Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, OntarioToday I had to work tethering off my phone because @Bell pushed an update to their modem. The internet is so bad in Bolsover along the Trent Severn - Bell’s own hardware couldn’t support it. When I asked what could be down I was given 3 options from @Bell_Support.
-
Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario@Bell @Bell_Support 1. We just wait. Apparently some folks in the area are marked as getting a change in service. The address they gave me? An abandoned farm across the road. They couldn’t say what the change was so I could ultimately be waiting just for the farm to be activated again.

K McCallum (@thenthereskeith) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario@Bell_Support is there an internet outage in Ontario? Can’t get modem to connect
-
Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario@Bell @Bell_Support Option 2 was that we buy ANOTHER internet line to come to the house. That way we could pay close to $200 a month just for 5mbsp speeds - but that still doesn’t solve the speed, inconsistency or reliability issues It just means the internet in the house is divided between devices
-
Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario@Sonic_counselor @Bell @LaurieScottPC Not sure where you are located but we’re in the same boat. Had no internet for the day when Bells hardware failed to update needing faster speeds. Got told I could spend 8k a month for better service otherwise I’m at the mercy of Bell. It’s sad how rural Canadians are treated.

-
Andre (@AndreInUk) reported@Bell @telus @Rogers please explain why you scam Canadians while we get the same service or better in the UK for cheap?
-
DonDraper (@OnAShipOfFools) reported@Bell Why would you address this faster after I post on social media vs me (now) spending hours on the phone talking to your tech support. I know exactly what my bundle costs me and I’m actively looking to cancel all services.
-
The Undead Royal Canadian Kilted #Fella (@Whisky_Yak) reported@Reil76 @SnarkusAurelius @Bell My father knew one of the local Bell Computer Engineers and flagged him down as he drove past my parent's place, in order to get an issue resolved that the client service reps and regular field techs couldn't solve. Bell kindly asked him not to do that again.
-
Raymond Berry (@whodat54321d) reported@Reil76 @Bell Lose the wire and get Starlink. Rogers/Shaw has issues here between copper thieves and strong winds causing unstable internet. I’ll bypass them both.
-
dodge journey Crossroad (@RobertRabi7) reported@Reil76 @Bell I've had a Rogers plan for 5 years, the speed is 2 gigabytes, and I haven't had any problems. I pay $65 a month and the speed is stable, even though I live in an old building.
-
RyanCartier (@RyanCartiers) reported@virginmedia The delayed call back does not change corp. #customerservice practice or reduce long lead times plaguing @Bell - ANSWERING customer calls when called is needed. - Stopping the use of unproven AI. - Address consistent #customersupport deficiencies reported online.
