@Bell is there an internet outage in Toronto?

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

Today I had to work tethering off my phone because @Bell pushed an update to their modem. The internet is so bad in Bolsover along the Trent Severn - Bell’s own hardware couldn’t support it. When I asked what could be down I was given 3 options from @Bell_Support.

  • thenthereskeith K McCallum (@thenthereskeith) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell_Support is there an outage in Toronto? Wifi down.

  • andrewkelly Andrew Kelly (@andrewkelly) reported from Kawartha Lakes, Ontario

@Bell @Bell_Support 1. We just wait. Apparently some folks in the area are marked as getting a change in service. The address they gave me? An abandoned farm across the road. They couldn’t say what the change was so I could ultimately be waiting just for the farm to be activated again.

Hi @Bell_Support, you really need to do something about your customer service. This morning, in the chat function, I made an inquiry about switching receivers (I have 2). I clearly explained to the rep to NOT change anything until later. /2

  • Rootbrian_ Rootbrian's updates, rational thoughts & opinions (@Rootbrian_) reported

@sharuss1 @Bell_Support Is this via wired or wireless connection? Highly suggest wired, because you'll never get anything close to gigabit or higher over a wireless connection.

  • marshmat Matt Marsh (@marshmat) reported

@Bell Pro tip for any customers stumbling across this: renting WiFi equipment from Bell is a terrible deal. The stuff is paid off in 8 months but they keep charging you for it forever. You can buy much better gear, and save money, by just going to any local computer store.

  • Delreyphotos Rogelio Toledo (@Delreyphotos) reported

@debbie_rutgers @Bell Talk to @iFox97 they helped me when support services wouldn’t help me🥺..

@Bell I’ve had a Bell Fibe junction box attached to my house for several years and am still on copper wire service. What gives?

  • Monsteranthe6ix Monstera Man (@Monsteranthe6ix) reported

@Bell_Support Is there an outage in the Yonge and St Clair area? C'mon Bell do better.

  • TiiahTime Tiiah (@TiiahTime) reported

I unprotected my tweet for one reason… to tell @Bell TO STOP PLAYING IN MY FACE !! I’m switching my wifi service to someone else tomorrow morning.

  • kristen_payne1 Kristen D Payne (@kristen_payne1) reported

@nejsnave @Bell While Bell is fair in their pricing, until about a year ago they didn’t come right out and offer payment plans. Due to my finances in/out I couldn’t pay the bill before the 20th. They disconnected me 5 times in 12 months. For the sake of one month’s service. Reconnect fee $49.95
