Another challenging day for telecom on #peleeisland Landline down yesterday. 🚫 cell service means 🚫 internet or any way to call anyone in an 🚨. Huge companies with huge dividends like @Bell can do better for rural + isolated communities. Ask Elon how. #CRTC #connectivity

Update: they didn't. I've had another *several* calls with @Bell_Support since this thread. It's a comedy of errors. They broke my modem while remotely doing something. Arranged to install fibre (their idea -- upgrade!) but sent a technician only authorized to change the modem.

@Bell they dont matter to me. you guys can pound sand. you can have the damn phone back, but you can absolutely forget the "early termination fee" seeing as you changed my contract without my knowing. i can end it the same way.

@Rogers @bell Have you looked into expanding internet into the N1A 2W2 area code? We are all stuck on subpar internet. The first company that brings high speed services here is sure to get all the people on board. The lockdown has shown us how bad our internet options really are.

glad to be back on @beanfield. @Bell fibe sucked. cost TWICE as much but was twice as SLOW and they also engage in contracts with the government that force families of inmates to pay exorbitant fees to speak to their families. happy to be no longer supporting them.

@Bell_Support is the chat option completely gone now? any time I try, regardless of the day of the week or time of day, regardless of browser or device, the chat option never works or is simply not there.

@fordnation The lockdowns have been extremely hard on those of us who do not have high speed internet services. I pay $300/month for limited bandwidth so I can work and my kids can do their schooling. Help @rogers and/or @bell expand into areas just outside the cities.

@Bell train your CSR's better. my gigabit internet is hitting 20 mbps on speedtest. don't give me your "1 gb per modem speedtest" bs, we know that real world isn't going to be as fast, but 20 mbps is ****. Telling me to optimize my device, you just lost a customer.

@Bell_Support I recently ported the service from Rogers to Bell and seems Bell service is even worse then Rogers. Tried different cellphones no luck. Service area L5N8A8.
