    @cogeco Is this a Cogeco issue? Does Bell and Rogers have the same issues?

  • webstrategist Dave Manning (@webstrategist) reported

    @HaltonDSB @ONgov If you are having issues with Cogeco (DNS issue) today and earlier this week, a work around is to change the DNS server and backup on your home router to Google's DNS: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

    @cogeco Another fail Tristan

    @servicesdown_ Yup Cogeco you suck !!! Maybe pay the CEO slightly less and invest in some equipment!!!! This is going to keep happening and will get worse, worse service ever....but at least they have friendly people online and on the phones. RIP OFF, scam!!!

    @_chris905 @Niagara_411 If you’re talking about cogeco not having the infrastructure that is incorrect. Literally every other internet service that uses cogeco lines is fine. It’s the same issue that happened the other day. The problem is leadership at cogeco and not fixing the root of the issue.

    So @cogeco, 2 days ago - province wide outage for ~ 1 hr Today - same thing at the same time of day. ❓What have you done to prevent this from happening again? If it does I’m switching providers - I need reliable internet for my kids to learn from home for the next month!

  • vishnunkk vishnu (@vishnunkk) reported

    @cogeco Any one having issue , change your DNS server to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4

    @cogeco Hi, I’m having issues with my Internet again. This is the 3rd time this week

  • LiaDePauw Lia De Pauw (@LiaDePauw) reported

    @alcdsb @cogeco How is attendance being tracked during the shut down? My Gr 1 is already proclaiming virtual learning boring and that he wants to quit. This format is not appropriate for early learners. It’s not necessary in our region either. Dropping out is 100% understandable.
