@MariusKarpis @cogeco why don't you just switch to a different network provider??

  • ImToreos chris toreos (@ImToreos) reported

Internet is back for now. If this issue is not "ACTUALLY FIXED" as per what Cogeco has said, i'll 100% be leaving this company in the dirt.

  • TJIRISH53 TJIRISH (@TJIRISH53) reported

@cogeco Cogeco management needs to issue an explanation of the source of these outages. Changing DNS seems to be a solution but most people cannot or are uncomfortable doing it. If changing DNS is a solution then why doesn't Cogeco have this as a back up suggestion or action.1/2

@cogeco Sure I get it everyone on line now... but maybe our accounts should be credited bc of no internet service, we pay enough.

Working from home today and @cogeco goes out about 9:50am. Lots of fire trucks. Issue up the street at a power station (ours is on at the house). @ 10:45 or so. Wife comes home. Power and internet out at her office. If looks could kill when I told her the internet was out...

  • THEMikeGarrett 𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 (@THEMikeGarrett) reported

Probably another bad day to be working in Cogeco cx service. Be nice folks, the people manning those channels are trying to be helpful, it's not THEIR fault your internet is down.

  • Technoweenie1 Bryan Biller (@Technoweenie1) reported

@610CKTB Change your DNS setting to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and it should get you back up and running. Issue is with Cogeco's DNS server.
