@globeandmail theres no competition because the others cant afford the equipment insurance and service costs. Remember, its not just about providing internet. Is the government going to direct roads being dug up for extra internet/phone/cable lines? I dont think so. Bell/rogers/cogeco fight it

@Bell This is not true. any rain or storm. If your neighbour had bell expect interfering and signal loss. and it’s 150$ and the pods suck and turn off by them self. should have stuck with cogeco.

@MacheteKillz You got that right. Cogeco is an abolute horrible company. I have never seen anything like this bullshit. Tower dies 5 times a day and we are told "they see nothing on their end" yet it continues to die 5 times a day.

If a company allows you to sign to a service online but forces you to call support to cancel that service, stay away. Currently waiting for a @Ooma rep, but I had the same experience with @Cogeco and @TeamViewer. #stayaway

@Win98Tech burly counts as Halton and therefore GTA also teksavvy uses Rogers or Cogeco lines (as a former customer) (so I'm confused)

2/ 6pm still no service, TekSavvy is too lazy to do anything other than look at the status of the ticket. Cogeco refuses to tell me when the ticket will be completed because I’m “not a customer”, even though they’re the ISP who provides my internet

We've had Cogeco for years and it's always been bad, but at least it was bearable. With my parents having bought wifi boosters (from Cogeco), a ton of new issues, as well as the ones listed above, have emerged.
