Please be advised that due to a fibre cut at Cogeco, several of their customers are experiencing outages. Holy Cross and a large area of the city of Peterborough are affected by the outage and are currently without internet access.

@fanCRTCProfling @cogecohelps Just checked availabity: switching from Cogeco to @TekSavvyBuzz ASA-f’n-P. Hitting pause on all my investor pitch calls until this transition complete. It’s not just that Cogeco sucks (it does) it’s that their ****** service over last 48hrs caused me serious reputational harm.

  • Toastheaven Ghostheaven @ Leylan now! (@Toastheaven) reported

@cogecohelps Brittany in customer service gave me a hand and manually fixed the name and password to my modem; Heads up that this appears to be a building-wide issue as none of the cogeco connections on my list follow the usual apt# naming convention anymore. Worthwhile checking into.

So compared to 180 to 150 Fibre is 150 slow or a med? Bell can offer 150 for 60-65 a month an Cogeco charged me 65 a month I been with them for 3 yrs now

  • InstantGrudge Dennis Forbes (@InstantGrudge) reported

@Cogeco - the audio desync problems with the EPICO Android TV box are legendary. After four or so hours of streaming, the thing is up to a +1 second audio desync. Amazing. Do you actually test this stuff?

  • westi3mom Marietta L (@westi3mom) reported

@cogeco why do I pay for a HBO/Crave subscription then get kicked out of a show I’m watching and when I try to sign back in and am told I need a subscription to sign back in! Your service is terrible and your phone agents can’t help, this has to be rectified. Give my my $$ back.

@cogeco No service at all for 8 hours get really frustrated

  • TheTerribleHook The Terrible Hook (@TheTerribleHook) reported

@cogecohelps Trust me, Graham, we've spent hours discussing this matter with Cogeco and Bell reps, but no one could witch our email addresses over, so we had to cancel the move (which would have saved us a ton of $). Now @Bell_Support is refusing to acknowledge the cancellation.

  • crackshottv crinkbink 🇨🇦 (@crackshottv) reported

Yo I get having ****** customer service agents, it's not personal or anything but this is like the third time in the last few months where a @cogeco customer service agent has been straight up insulting. MNSi here we come weeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • AdamRoffel Adam Roffel (@AdamRoffel) reported

@brockmclaughlin The biggest "issue" is that TekSavvy doesn't own the lines they use, so if there is an outage (or in my case last year, the 'box' was too congested which meant slowers speed around 8:30-9:00 PM with heavy load), they need to wait on Cogeco (in Chatham) to do the maintence, etc.
