  • CPete88 C_P88 (@CPete88) reported

    @scottcjordan @Navsteva @PelmeniPusha Long story short whoever clicked that link was a customer of the Cogeco ISP in the Cornwall ON area and wasn’t connected to a VPN.

    @SteveCoville @cogecohelps @cogeco We're having issues in Burlington too

  • JPWP Jim Parsons (@JPWP) reported

    Tonight is a historic night: @cogecohelps has gone from a persistent joke… to a dismal failure. If you’re a Cogeco customer reading this in Burlington, Ontario 🇨🇦 (or any of their service areas) please seriously consider switching to @TekSavvyBuzz ASAP. They totally rock!

  • TwistedTalesSt Twisted Tales Studio (@TwistedTalesSt) reported

    I guess I will call it. Going on 10 hours and the internet is still down, so I will be canceling stream tonight. Hopefully cogeco figures out the issue in time for me not to miss another full day of work 😒🤬

  • CPete88 C_P88 (@CPete88) reported

    @CanadianUkrain1 Umm… a VPN would never show a host as a residential ISP like Cogeco. Cogeco isn’t in the business of providing VPN hosting. It would show the name and IP of whatever server farm the VPN contracted in that country. Whoever clicked that link was using their unprotected IP.

  • Chambyy23 Philippe Chamberland (@Chambyy23) reported

  • Bobbytwofours Bobby (@Bobbytwofours) reported

    @JSukraine2022 @iAmTheWarax @CalibreObscura If he was using VPN his IP would show up as a home TV cable company like Cogeco. Stupid stuff.
