@cogecohelps how come the school board can notify of the outage before Cogeco notifies customers? Why doesn't your status page load? Maybe consider a cloud service to serve that up not on your network.

@cogecohelps @libraryzombie I've traced it as a DNS issue on Cogeco's end... if you change the adapter settings in Windows 10 for DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.8.4, it'll work

@westi3mom @WayneBHay @cogeco As they shouldn't be responsible, it's not them that caused the outage. Accidents happen, I'm sure it'll be back and you can all resume living life again.

@Costa_Klad @cogeco The work around fixes the problem. Manually change your dns servers to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4
