@cogecohelps Does Cogeco allow me to purchase my own modem? My Hitron CODA-4589 is pretty terrible. For about the 20th time, the password to access the router has been changed somehow. I need to put it in bridged mode 'again' to bypass the terrible wifi and lan with my own router

  • theoxman david oxley (@theoxman) reported

@cogeco I see my internet bill is now $76. It used to be $69 and the service is way worse. How do you sleep at night you crooks?

@olliefromkenoll @AcornHamilton Municipal Broadband would be when the City in this case Hamilton sets up a public company to provide broadband (internet service) to residents. The same as Cogeco or other companies do currently. I proposing we look into this possibility here in Hamilton.

@cogecohelps L9T6H6 Milton. Internet upstream down to kbps, this is ridiculous. If you call support they never admit it's congestion, and never a problem on my end. Neighbors experiencing similar speeds. Do something about it Cogeco!!!

  • NicoleAyala3 Nicole Ayala (@NicoleAyala3) reported

@cogeco provides the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only has my internet been down every single week for the past month, when I called today, they called me a liar when I complained about the service not working and they hung up on me.

  • rohansha111 rohan.s1981 (@rohansha111) reported

@cogeco sorry but really bad customer support, my internet is very slow since 9:45am but when I called tech support(Wayne), I have been told to wait till Thursday afternoon for tech person appointment. It’s worse than Canadian healthcare

  • theoxman david oxley (@theoxman) reported

Thanks Cogeco for raising internet prices $6 for worse service. #Thieves

@cogeco why ******** am I paying for cable and the Jays game is not to on.

  • mitchel_susan Susan Mitchell 🇺🇦 (@mitchel_susan) reported

@LloydOsten I think it's both. I've watched, and when it kicks me out, it's not due to signal strength. Wifi can be bad here (Cogeco), so it's another annoyance.

@cogecohelps Looks like @cogecohelps is off today, as is their internet service. Maybe @cogeco can help?
