Cogeco Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • StinsonAnalytic David Stinson (@StinsonAnalytic) reported

@Mootz613 @cogeco Is it too much to ask that Kingston customers be given an expected date/time of service restoration? Or at least some sort of answer or acknowledgement? This really is a text book case of how not to handle outages.

  • J_Carrigan Jonathan Carrigan (@J_Carrigan) reported

@jkghuman @cogeco We’re having the same experience. Cogeco website says the issue is been resolved in our area but we still don’t have internet. I’m now actively exploring other providers.

  • PEPE4ff Pat Riley (@PEPE4ff) reported

@Bell_Support Nothing to look into- I’ve used the virtual repair tool more times then I can count - I’ve been in chats with one of your service reps.. “it was an authentication issue” so they say and then back to losing internet and having to use my data … I’m just going to cogeco now

  • Chaosking243 Nicholas (@Chaosking243) reported

@cogeco Been without internet and tv since 8 AM on the 24th. It’s now 1AM on the 25th. The outage report is now just gone (which I’m not sure is better than just adding an hour every time like it was). Are there any updates?

  • deadlynitshade Tashing Through The Snow ❄️ (@deadlynitshade) reported

    @cogeco Still down.

  • feartheglove Doc (@feartheglove) reported

@cogeco Ummmmm… no… Northumberland is still dark and we are along the 401. No service still since Dec 23

  • low03xtreme Kyle Rioux (@low03xtreme) reported

@cogeco There’s a bunch of wires down on Helena St in Fort Erie. Just a heads up

  • smokingcolourz Tasting colours (@smokingcolourz) reported

@Chaosking243 @cogeco 8am ish on the 23rd not even a estimate on when it’ll be fixed, last I talked to cogeco on the phone yesterday night they had no idea when also stated they had no technicians in area even attempting to fix it

  • Mootz613 Hartley (@Mootz613) reported

I realize this is a first world problem but not having internet, tv or home phone for over 36 hours during the holidays is trying my patience. @cogeco @cogecohelps is absolutely the worst provider I have ever seen. #Cogeco

  • IGY6MMCWNZ ; I G Y 6 (@IGY6MMCWNZ) reported

@Luney66 @cogeco That seems off to me! I'm not aware of any circumstance where you'd need Power of Attorney to help with utilities, unless of course the family member was medically incapacitated (e.g. Alzheimers). This is the problem with automated/remote customer care. Were you with your Aunt?
