  • Sidewayz_ Devin (@Sidewayz_) reported

@cogecohelps Does Cogeco allow me to purchase my own modem? My Hitron CODA-4589 is pretty terrible. For about the 20th time, the password to access the router has been changed somehow. I need to put it in bridged mode 'again' to bypass the terrible wifi and lan with my own router

The most infuriating thing about @cogeco's EPICO service-- or, more accurately, its device-- is that it CONSTANTLY keeps not just dropping its internet connection but randomly and inexplicably (and often!) "disabling" it with no discernible way to fix it. It's a clusterf*ck.

  • TaylorImeson Taylor Ando (Imeson) (@TaylorImeson) reported from Fort Erie, Ontario

@cogecohelps I’d rather spend my time shopping around for a new provider than waste anymore time talking to Cogeco just to have the same terrible service.

@Emarie110265 Yikes. Again? I have cogeco and have issues once in and awhile but most times they are pretty good

@cogeco your wait times are absolutely horrible get it together. You upped our bills but your customer service still sucks

  • jeremyjsharp Jeremy J. Sharp (@jeremyjsharp) reported

@cogeco It's less of a problem for people like me with at least some comfort with how technology works; for people like my (senior-aged) parents, it's much, much worse and just aggravates them to no bloody end. And guess who always has to fix it... Until the next time. Ad infinitum.
