@cogecohelps I spoke with a technician. They said outage. Why does the site say no outage AND why does everyone else have their Cogeco service working but me? The entire area has their internet and hydro back.

Hello @cogecohelps @cogeco my wifi was down at 2pm today and still isn’t back up but the website says no outages in my area. I’m in north end Peterborough ON. What’s going on? I also tried re starting my router and nothing .

@cogecohelps @Kay33549518 @cogeco Like I said, I get that you guys are busy. I just don’t appreciate your customer service insisting that it’s all fixed when we can clearly see it’s not.

@cogecohelps @KiloAlpha11 I mean sure, but since a couple other ISPs are fine, and 40-65% of the city has power - fair to ask why Rogers doesn't have to wait on an update from (a non-existant) entity called Peterborough Hydro, but Cogeco does, no? Still, not mad. If you said the wires were down, all gucci

@cogeco Outage map is saying east city in Peterborough has no outage anymore. After multiple resets of my modem this is clearly not the case. Still no internet at this time even though it is reported as fixed.

@cogecohelps @cogeco Totally! Another great “feature” would be to joy text me every other day because your service is down. An even better “feature” would be to not invoice us when you can’t provide service.

@BenjaminRispin Not sure why a hydro outage affects the cable service? There are things called generators that Cogeco could be using at their stations.
