  • justincooke182 Justin (@justincooke182) reported

@constanzapool @cogeco No extra cost. Think of it like using Google's "phonebook" to translate addresses rather than Cogeco's. When the outage is resolved, I would switch it back to the previous state but there's also no harm in continuing to use Google's DNS servers (or any other DNS servers).

@validsporttakes @cogeco I pay twice that a month. I'm not upset. They'll have it fixed asap and if not they can give rebates for lost time. Everyone here is saying they have constant problems...they why are they still with #cogeco? There are other companies out there if this ones not working out.

  • commons65091701 commonsense (@commons65091701) reported

@JorgeOdam @cogeco That would be a first as they have never done that in the past. I've lost service 5 times since Dec 1st, I won't be holding my breath on a refund.

  • realmattahrens Matt (@realmattahrens) reported

@cogecohelps @RyanDawson35 How come if I’m late on a payment I get the entire cogeco team emailing mailing me but if the service goes down I have to use my cell service to hunt down what happened?

@cogeco @cogecohelps looks like your dns service is down. I changed to open dns and have internet connectivity.

@cogeco Another fix: if you have a VPN, turn it on.
