    @JamesConnor1999 @cogeco Are you aware the reports of hurricane force winds? With trees and poles broken and uprooted? No tornadoes but hundreds of downbursts, which causes the same type of damage.

    @gabbett_matt9 @cogeco My hydro never went out yet haven’t had tv or internet since 1pm, worse yet @cogeco outages page says no disruption in my area. Wondering if they don’t have enough employees to handle the work.

    @RetirementLif @cogecohelps The even more frustrating part is my cable and internet was working after the hydro outage, and then it randomly went out at 7pm. There’s clearly another issue they aren’t telling us. Their cogeco outage webpage just also keeps telling you a different time every hour.

    @cogecohelps @KiloAlpha11 I mean sure, but since a couple other ISPs are fine, and 40-65% of the city has power - fair to ask why Rogers doesn't have to wait on an update from (a non-existant) entity called Peterborough Hydro, but Cogeco does, no?     Good morning @cogeco @cogecohelps any chance we can get a realistic idea when we might get service back, I understand the storm but every hour the check for outages message says next hour. Just give me an honest timeline ffs.

    I couldn't resist. Checked @cogeco again at 8:31 am. It says the outage will be resolved at 9:31 am. It's good to know they are making progress.

    12:38 am; @cogeco is back but, running 1/4 of overall speeds vs 1TB downloads that it should be. Happy to have service again after 12 hours of burning up my mobile data. Hope line strength is corrected.
