@LaciMarieKnight The CRTC controls all in Canada & creates regional monopolies , allowing companies to continue giving poor service at high prices. Bell Canada is the worst of the worst with Cogeco and Rogers close behind. They render only services they have to give while controlling what we see.

@cogecohelps We have had very bad and sometimes no internet for the last month or more. Multiple calls to cogeco. We were told to change out the modem. We did that. Followed all cogeco instructions. Others on our street have had the same problems.

@kitty_kattkait @cogecohelps Whatโ€™s your theory that some Cogeco employee rammed in to a power wire? Lmao. You people are insufferable. Something caused the wiring to cut off the internet. And guess what? Theyโ€™re on the way to fix it. This ainโ€™t Harry Potter a wand canโ€™t fix it in seconds. Fk youโ€™re trash

Hey @Bell I have had internet issues for three days now!! Whenever I call your tech support people will look into my modem and say everythingโ€™s fine. One minute my speed is lightning, and then itโ€™s gone. My cameras cut out, my alarm wonโ€™t work, but they refuse to do anything! This is why I left you before for @cogeco and Iโ€™m about ready to do it again!!!

@cogeco how do I get on your do not disturb list? I'm not interested in your service and your salespeople just keep showing up here every few months. I want to be left alone thank you.

@CDInewsletter Really appreciate the thoughtful reply and coming from you, it carries weight. I ran both Quebecor and Cogeco through the algorithm just now. And I am happy to see that your instincts mostly checkout :) : $QBR-B: ๐ŸŸข OPTIMAL | Quality 85, Opportunity 80. P/FFO 8.7x, ND/EBITDA 2.9x, 11.8% dividend CAGR. The model loves this one - Quality 85 is significantly higher than BCE (57) or Telus (58). The 2.2% yield is light, but total shareholder yield is 3.79% with buybacks. $CCA: ๐ŸŸ  CAUTION | Quality 45, Opportunity 70. Yield 6.38%, P/FFO 1.5x. The $2.2B impairment on the U.S. segment (Breezeline) is flagged as a permanent structural problem, not temporary. The algorithm sees the value but doesn't trust the moat. The BCE management trust point is well taken. "The dividend is safe" โ†’ 42% cut a year later is exactly the kind of credibility gap no quantitative model captures. I should probably add some version of this. Thanks again ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ

@kinisurrco Nice summary. I think your model is onto something, but at the same time I can't bring myself to buy more $T.TO (I sold $BCE.TO a couple years ago). That probably means it's a good time to buy. BCE is a no-go for me because I don't trust management. They're kings of saying one thing and doing another. Rogers I don't love the focus on sports franchises. Quebecor is still my favourite in the sector. Only a tiny bit more expensive than Telus on a P/FCF basis, but better balance sheet, a dividend that should grow, and a more focused company. Honourable mention to Cogeco too. Think they sell the U.S. part of the company and use the proceeds to pay down debt/do a buyback. They may even potentially take the company private.

They are the worst. Happily changed to Cogeco a few years ago after 2+ years of issues with Bell.
