@cogeco online says I have service but I haven’t had internet or phone working since the outage. Your service representatives are not helpful with no communication on when and what is happening with my service. I’m switching back to Bell even if it means slower speeds. Ridiculous

@etchao Hi, Eric. The 'Hydro Related - Plant On' outage means there's currently no power in the neighbourhood where our plant is; so we cannot distribute Cogeco services. If the ETA is always one-hour-out, it means the hydro company has not provided us an ETA to pass along as-of-yet.

@cogeco @cogecohelps website now says no outage in my area but we still don’t have internet. I called support and confirmed there is still an outage 🤬 After 3 days of waiting with no useful info I’m calling Bell.

@cogeco must be getting desperate because they're sending shady reps door to door to sell Internet. This is the second time now. Visible ID and a nicer demeanor would help. I don't need to be insulted after I ask the rep to leave *three* times. #ThoughtItWasABurglarInTheHood

And the Crave app suddenly won’t load on the EPICO box either - which I pay for as part of my Cogeco package. I miss my TiVo boxes. Wish I hadn’t switched to EPICO, it’s been issues with these boxes from the start. I’ve been staring at the crave loading screen for 5 minutes now

Hey there @cogeco so there was a power outage in my area and I rebooted my modem but there is still no internet here whatsoever. I checked your website… and it says there is internet… Yet my modem says otherwise… 3 green lights are on steady, the 4th is blinking… 🤔

Since the storm down here in Fort Erie we haven't had internet service. Between @telus and @cogeco I pay over $350 a month. Telus coverage is brutal by the border and Cogeco can't seem to get a tech out. A lot of $$ to put out every month to not have services when you need them
