    Didn’t @cogeco used to send out text messages with alerts when their service is down? My internet was off for over 5 hours due to a power outage somewhere in the area and not a peep.

    Cogeco received #CRTC approval to shut down CKYK-FM-1 96.9, a retransmitter of KYK 95.7 in Alma, after arguing the additional transmitter is redundant except in a small sliver north of the city, and not worth the cost. The transmitter was originally approved in 2008.

    Cogeco clearly stated they collect congestion data at each and every node as part of proper network planning #CRTC. And this is what I said, this data should be on their website when a customer looks up their address, in real time.

    @TOMTHEPHILO @WikkedBlissy @6ixbuzztv Lol no they didn't. They owned a crap load of stocks that's it. They had 0 say or power what cogeco did

    @Mitch6669 @cogecohelps @cogeco Mine also dropped suddenly about 5 mins ago. When I visit the link provided to check on status in my area, after I enter my postal code and click Check Status, "no outage found". I'm in Burlington ON -- L7N1B3.

    @cogecohelps any clue on why Cogeco is down in St Catharines & when it will be back up. Not a peep out of you & this is the 5th time this year my Internet has gone out & I work from home

    @tedwoodhead @cogeco @MBDan7 People seem to think these #CRTC labels will fix rural fixed wireless. How? If there is a competitor, people would switch - but there usually isn't a competitor. So, it ultimately comes down to spectrum, towers, economics. Everyone wants 5-bars, but they don't want new towers
