@cogeco Here's how to fix it on Mac: Settings > Network Click on Wi-Fi on the left. Click "Advanced..." on the bottom right. Click DNS at the top. Click the plus sign on the bottom left under "DNS Servers". Type 8.8.8.8 Do it again for 8.8.8.4 "OK" and "Apply"

@toddycoupe @neverfever @outagedetect I had to do it in my modem/router since my mesh WiFi was failing with the broken DNS. If you're using the Cogeco WiFi you should be able to set on either laptop or router.

@justincooke182 @cogeco Curious as to why changing the DNS resolves the issue. Does it imply that the issue is not with the internet service, rather it's with Cogeco's DNS gateway? Or do you think they took down their DNS gateway to look into an issue with their service?

@Daniel75124110 @KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Same, switched in May for online learning/work and wish I could go back to my previous service. It was slow but worked. 1G is a joke. Had 2 modems, 2 extenders and 18 service calls. I don’t live in a cinder block house and am dead centre in the city. No excuse. Can’t wait 4 Bell!
