Hey @cogeco thanks for sneakily telling me that both my internet and tv packages are going up by $6 in September, with zero explanation as to why. Am I getting faster internet? No. Better tv channels? No. Has your service or quality improved? No. But now I get to pay $12 more.

  • SkieDenty Skie Denty (@SkieDenty) reported

@cogeco HELLO PLEASE STOP DOUBLING MY BILL ILLEGALLY AND TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY FOR IT. ALSO, HIRE BETTER CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS. YOUR SUPERVISORS ARE DROPPING CALLS THEY DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH. I WILL SUE.

  • Snuze29 Suzanne Wood (@Snuze29) reported

@cogeco not only do you raise your prices a second time in 2 years($6 for internet and $6 for tv), but your services never get any better..my tv and access to internet have never dramatically improved in anyway. You can’t even tell me it’s a $12 increase, I have to login. 😡

  • AaronPrevost91 Aaron (@AaronPrevost91) reported

@cogeco your Internet always seems to go down right when I absolutely need it, been having so much trouble lately with Wi-Fi signal and cable signal and I’m starting to wonder if it’s even worth it staying with you guys

@cogeco epico sucks. Worst decision I ever made was getting this service.

  • paulCanada1972 Paul from Canada (@paulCanada1972) reported

@TekSavvyBuzz rents the lines from @Cogeco and resells the service at about the same price as Cogeco, but Cogeco offers a discount under-selling Teksavvy's price to get their customers, then raises prices once they have the customers. Really shadey business practice

@cogeco this is my second rate increase in the last 2 years… this is ridiculous, my internet consistently cuts out at least once a day - people are paying much less for better quality internet?! i’ve been a loyal customer for 4 years but i cannot afford to keep forking out

  • paulCanada1972 Paul from Canada (@paulCanada1972) reported

@mikelaw86 @solkumar @cogeco They told me that the increase is to cover improvements in their service. I have only been on a month so I have yet to see this, but I can say that they claim it is up to 1000mbps, but the max my tests have shown is 700mbps, and my game consoles never test above 200mbps.
