@CanadianUkrain1 Umm… a VPN would never show a host as a residential ISP like Cogeco. Cogeco isn’t in the business of providing VPN hosting. It would show the name and IP of whatever server farm the VPN contracted in that country. Whoever clicked that link was using their unprotected IP.

@cogeco your response times to outages are horrendous. I've been without stable internet in Milton since last week and can't have someone come check the issue until Thursday. Very disappointing.

@cogeco @cogecohelps You know, when you send me email (already a customer) that starts off sounding like I'm finally going to get gig internet, then you explain that you upgraded the network in a place over 300km away from me so *they* get gig, it just makes me irritated. ;)

@cogecohelps @cogeco Hi Cole, actually you helped me earlier by Facebook messenger. Turns out it was indeed an area issue. Glad I pressed on this and that you could help but my goodness 7 days of disconnects ever 10 minutes was overwhelming. Glad it was finally fixed.
