2/3 There was 2 lines effected, Bell and Cogeco. We called both companies to come fix the lines. Bell showed up within the hour and had our internet up and running within 2 hours. Cogeco said they wouldn’t come for another 5 days.

@JohnDou38694475 @startca Typically, with issues like these, Cogeco would be responsible for it. Without an absolute diagnosis, we can't tell who exactly is to blame but if Cogeco is responsible that might explain the miscommunication, the lengthening of the issue, and why Cogeco is actively brushing off.

@habibi_linda @petesmaluck Linda Linda, The issues that is occurring is not related to Cogeco. We are investigating issue from our side. We apologize for the inconvenience.

@cogeco how is it third party websites have a better idea of outages and problems than cogecos website?

  • jamesheffron James Heffron (@jamesheffron) reported from Milton, Ontario

@cogeco it amazes me that you can get through to sales within seconds but end up on hold to cancel one of three services. Your website for self serve Epico premium internet has been down for days. It seems easier to switch to @Bell?

  • lndmommy stephanie (@lndmommy) reported

@cogeco internet is so crap that I lose connection to the internet while plugged in directly to the modem. Makes sense.

  • startca Start.ca (@startca) reported

@pasquino1975 Hi Bruno, We are sorry to tell you we have no current ETA. We are working to rectify issue as it is from our end not Cogeco.

  • Sprial_out Matt Lepp (@Sprial_out) reported

@breachpunkrock @startca I mean you do you, but cogeco customers are also experiencing outages which suggests its an infrastructure issue, which cogeco is responsible for. Start just piggy backs on cogecos infrastructure, meaning theyre at cogeco's mercy right now ..

  • startca Start.ca (@startca) reported

@PoodlesLLC Hi, The issue is not specifically with Cogeco. We have technicians working to resolve the issue from our side ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

@Bryson_M They're going to have to sell off some assets, like Bell did for MTS. I could see them selling off the division to Cogeco or @Videotron *me dreaming* If Videotron bought Freedom's mobile network, they'd have coverage in the four most populous provinces.
