@cogeco useless company with lousy service … 3rd time in 4 weeks with no internet … 2 technicians out to fix it in the last 4 weeks …

  • fagstein Steve Faguy (@fagstein) reported

Cogeco received #CRTC approval to shut down CKYK-FM-1 96.9, a retransmitter of KYK 95.7 in Alma, after arguing the additional transmitter is redundant except in a small sliver north of the city, and not worth the cost. The transmitter was originally approved in 2008.

@cogeco can you please explain to me why a 3 year contract got moved to a 10 year contract and today I look at my bill and its 15 years... how does that happen... if you are a cogect customer review you bill you might see 180 month... thats 15 years

@tedwoodhead @cogeco Had to run out mid-way during Cogeco. They aren't wrong... but, they are paying the price for the other bad actors out there. Rogers, Telus and some resellers aren't exactly customer friendly and do screw people. Everyone pays the price for the bad apples.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

@tedwoodhead @cogeco If over-subscription/congestion data was available per node, I'd look at it, if trouble-shooting an issue or helping someone with an issue or helping someone decide on a TSP. There's bad apples out there. Some rural areas are bad. Shows if they invested properly.

  • judianefy judiane fournier (@judianefy) reported

@cogeco you transferred the wrong number a week ago and still not fixed. 5th phone call I’m currently waiting for 56 minutes…..to think I raved about your service to get my mom to switch….

  • Mark_Goldberg Mark Goldberg (@Mark_Goldberg) reported

@tedwoodhead @cogeco About #CRTC nutrition labels: MP @MBDan7 said this morning that customers are frustrated with rural fixed wireless speeds, reliability. That doesn't get fixed by labels. It takes infrastructure investment. Need to stop doing stupid stuff that gets in the way of capital spending

  • RobertLaing10 Robert Laing (@RobertLaing10) reported from Presqu'ile Point, Ontario

Can aways count on cogeco, the crappiest cable company in Canada to crash at the end of a movie. Buyer Beware. Cogeco is horrible ****** cable. The worst anyware. An antanea with tinfoil would be more reliable than cogeco

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Cogeco clearly stated they collect congestion data at each and every node as part of proper network planning #CRTC. And this is what I said, this data should be on their website when a customer looks up their address, in real time.
