Probably another bad day to be working in Cogeco cx service. Be nice folks, the people manning those channels are trying to be helpful, it's not THEIR fault your internet is down.

@Spooky_Booty @cogeco 100% this! Sending out messages like "be patient" or "we're sorry for the inconvenience" while billing me for the full service amount is unfair and just goes to show they don't give a ****.

@Sean_Vanderklis @cogeco These days it's broken about 10 times a week. Mainly when trying to livestream a church service. Particularly an evening service at around 7 pm

@DefenderRadio @cogecohelps @cogeco File a complaint with CRTC. They are the worse internet/ cable provider. If enough of us file complaints maybe we might get acknowledgment from gov. They won’t pay me when I lose my job cause they can’t provide a service I pay for.

@Humphrey03Pat Start. Which I do find odd, they use Cogeco lines, but I have yet to experience any issue. Even with 2 on online school and me on PS+ hahaha

Change the DNS settings on your Cogeco modem to manual and point DNS1 to 1.1.1.1 and DNS2 to 1.0.0.1. Problem goes away. #CogecoDown #cogecooutage

@cogeco @cogecohelps Perhaps @Cogeco should explicitly state the reason for the disruptions this week to avoid losing subscribers. Google being hacked is a good explanation for the problems with cogeco's dns.

@cogeco I think everyone should file a complaint with CRTC every time Cogeco goes down. We are paying high prices for crap product and they know they can do whatever the hell they want and not suffer consequences. We have work to do and children to educate.

@BaitHateful @frizzle71849160 @cogeco All of their advertised speeds are “up to” for a reason. They can’t help that one of their servers caught fire. Things happen.
