  @MrStache9 All my kids had cells so I killed my landline 14 years ago. Cogeco pissed me off so bad I also killed my internet connection with them and went with some place local.

  @cogeco You posted a pic of a dump truck and downed wires, is that implying that is the cause of the mass outage? If so, where is the redundancy in the system that would prevent this one area from bringing down service across eastern Ontario?

  $CCA.NE Cogeco Communications: Paid 6.6% to own a stock priced for a (not so certain) slow death. Cogeco is a Regional North American cable: internet, TV, phone, thin MVNO. ~1.6m subs. Canada holds. Breezeline (13 secondary US states) is the problem child. Kind of a Mini-Comcast (disclaimer: owner). The familt keeps 80% of the votes via $CGO. Thesis. C$60, 5.0–5.3x EBITDA, 13x FCF, 6.6% growing dividend. FCF still C$500–550m on C$2.5bn of equity. Monte Carlo (20k): median C$88 / mean C$93, 79% of paths above spot. You get paid while waiting for US to stop getting worse. Risks. Breezeline is half of EBITDA and still losing broadband to fibre/FWA, they just wrote off C$1.2–1.8bn. Maybe sold once the operations will have improved? Net debt C$4.44bn (3.2x). Buybacks paused until ~3.0x. Priced in. Ongoing −2/−3% sales, margins stuck, capex stuck 20% of sales, WACC 8.5–9%. Discounts. dying-cable multiple + ugly US mix + leverage + dual-class shares. Not investment advice.

  @cogeco If it is not my modem crashing out it is epico not working or having to rest my boxes or modem once a day terrible service

  It’s going to take two days to create a ticket to fix my phone. 4 months now and @cogeco new mobile service is a mess. I don’t suggest switching to them.They’ve made a ticket to help me but they can’t figure out why my phone can’t make phone calls. 😡

  @RKTCATS @cogecohelps Very poor customer service on this, Cogeco. Has been out for a very long time with zero updates.
