@cogecohelps @cogeco fix your DNS issues or accept defeat and tell users how to update their DNS settings on their router to Google’s 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. You just saved a bunch of teachers and students griefs.

@cogeco I hope the proactive update is better than this because I’ve been down for 1.5 hours and finally heard from someone.

@cogeco What is the issue? Customers deserve to know? What do you mean by outside of your network? Is it the same issue as Tuesday? Come on, treat customers as if they perhaps understand. Trust me, many do! You will earn trust if you are honest.

@cogeco Guys, it’s getting to be too much. I am very close to make a decision to switch a more reliable service provider. Also, why do we have to pay in full for a service that is so unreliable?

@cogeco Your phone lines are closed, Issue has been going on for hours and you are just acknowledging this, your support is non-existent and an insult to paying customers, the worse service provider in Canada.

So @cogeco, 2 days ago - province wide outage for ~ 1 hr Today - same thing at the same time of day. ❓What have you done to prevent this from happening again? If it does I’m switching providers - I need reliable internet for my kids to learn from home for the next month!

@cogeco hi. I recently signed up for 2 year internet. Well... If another outage happens, you can take your "2 year contract"& stick it. I work from home. If you can't provide stable service, I will go back to @bell. And if you think I'll pay an early exit fee... You're so wrong

@dania_thurman @Ward2Lisa @cogeco It just went back on! So not as long of an outage this time, but still super disruptive. One of the teachers is on Cogeco and was also down, so even the kids on Bell were offline...
