Panicked text from my brother. Apparently, Cogeco internet is down province-wide. Day 2 of remote learning. I think @Sflecce is about to go through some things. #onpoli

Laughing at the people having a total meltdown over the #Cogeco outage. It's actually kind of a sad state that people are sooo dependent on it that they resort to threats and full out tantrums. Chill people. Poop happens. @cogecohelps

  • davidharvey David Harvey (@davidharvey) reported

If you're having problems with Cogeco internet this morning, it's a DNS problem. If you know how, log into your router and add another DNS server to your configuration (eg. 8.8.8.8 or 208.67.222.222). That should solve the problem.

@KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Not a Karen. A Nadine and yes I'm frustrated because I work from home. Come on @cogeco . I pay $100s / month for your service. I hope this isn't because kids are online now. Should've built capacity and bandwidth into the system to manage this...

@carol_nasvytis @CBCAlerts @cogecohelps Just go into your cogeco modem and change the primary and secondary dns to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.8.4 then reboot the modem a couple times and it will then connect. Their DNS is down
