Spent a month asking cogeco to fix my internet, after talking to like 4 diff people from their support team they’ve given me a $50 credit and also didn’t even fix the internet :) lmfao

  • Jonsnow2929 Jon (@Jonsnow2929) reported

@cogecohelps @m_e_f1 The estimated time service is going to be restored is later than 2:30pm??!! This is ridiculous. There are people working from home that pay a lot of money for cogeco b/c it's the only provider. It's time to end the telecom oligopoly in this country.

@programmer279 @LukeMiani @cogeco Cogeco Internet has been down since 9h30am here. Rolling ETA. They are new to this area and then go down for a full day within their first 20 days here. TV, Internet and Phone.

  • tilla_the_bum Le Twit (@tilla_the_bum) reported

@cogecohelps @Jonsnow2929 Not true Graham. The default Cogeco gives on ETA is 4hrs. My area was just posted at 11h00 with a 3pm ETA even if tech support has known since 8am. Down 3 times this week. Twice for full days.

  • AgentAnnK AnnK (@AgentAnnK) reported

@cogecohelps I have already called and spoke to someone at customer service. They told me the error was on Cogeco, not me. They turned my auto billing back on and said thats the best they could do since......??? So I doubt you can help me at this point. Merry Christmas.

@programmer279 @LukeMiani @cogeco Not hate, just frustration. We set up our 90+ y old aunt with a #Cogeco acct & this is the 3rdX a tech hasn’t /has refused to help for whatever reason. I mean, they can’t force people to work, but hard to explain to her why they can’t fix her tv, like they hate her!

@AgentAnnK The CRTC forces those big monopolies to sell bandwidth to resellers at controlled rate. Look around there's plenty of option. It's the same network but different companies that manage account and customer services. Personally, I use B2B2C on Cogeco's network in Quebec.
