Cogeco is currently experiencing residential service interruptions throughout Ontario. If you are a Cogeco subscriber, this means that students in your home may not be able to access their Google classrooms. Cogeco is trying to resolve the issue.

@cogeco FYI Its been pointed out that I mistyped one of the Google DNS servers. If you plan to keep using these even after the outage is resolved, I would suggest making this correction for improved reliability! They should be: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Not: 8.8.8.8 8.8.8.4 < Incorrect!

Day 2 of synchronous online learning in #OntEd had an ISP problem with Cogeco and multiple platform failures as a result but sTuDeNtS nEeD zOoM sTyLe TeAcHiNg! If the government hadn’t tried to pop the cork six months ago we wouldn’t be having this conversation.

Cogeco is having a DNS issue if you don't have internet change your DNS servers to googles in your router page and you will be good to go till they fix it. 8.8.8.8 primary 8.8.4.4 secondary
