  • WayneBHay 🇨🇦 Canada ❤ 🇺🇸 🇩🇪 🇦🇺 (@WayneBHay) reported

@RickeyArmy_1 @westi3mom @cogeco Don't enjoy paying for something I can't get... Went for a stretch last year when it was down every day for 2 weeks, hours at a time. Is that a "normal" outage?

  • CAWguy J.L. 1285 (@CAWguy) reported

Is my kid evil? A rural kid that’s never known high speed internet is displaying signs of schadenfreude now that the in-town students have lost their #cogeco connection.

  • violet_blue68 Violet (@violet_blue68) reported

@GinetteP @cogeco Don’t sign a contract with Bell. I switched from Bell Fibe, it’s horrible with even worse customer service.

  • bdepaepe63 Bryan de Paepe (@bdepaepe63) reported

@JessPetrella82 @cogeco It's called entropy and all matter is subject to it's effects. Computers will eventually all have an internal connection break, just like cars they will break down eventually, nothing lasts forever.

  • aisforangelo Angelo Lariccia (@aisforangelo) reported

@cogeco Appreciate any update asap, good or bad

  • geezheeztall Geezheeztall🇨🇦 (@geezheeztall) reported

@cogeco My connection was still live with nothing resolving, so I tried the dns swap as others mentioned. I used Cloudflare with Google as secondary on my internal router. Up and going. Hopefully they fix the problem soon.

@Andrade14Mike @KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Good for you. I'll am salty because I work from home and this is a constant issue. Imagine being on a conference call with a major client during a presentation you are giving and internet drops out? Not fun at all.

  • StFXHammond St. Francis Xavier Hammond (@StFXHammond) reported

We understand that some students and families may be having difficulty connecting to remote learning this morning due to a widespread Internet outage affecting some regional Internet service providers, including Cogeco. Please be patient as these issues are being resolved.

  • JAD216 John Dennis (@JAD216) reported

@CHEXNewswatch It came back on , but it is slow response. I would think that it may be by-passed the issue for repair thus becoming SECOND in line to host of Internet space. Seems every winter there is a fiber line cut or damaged beyond Cogeco's control.

  • RebelEwing Steve Ewing (@RebelEwing) reported

@cogeco I get things happen. But ses every 30 days Georgetown goes down. Before it was Bell Canada's fault... Now what...? Added to fact a week I upgraded to Ultra super fast... And since day 1 best performance too date has been 100 mbps. Earliest a tech can come is Friday.
