For users experiencing the Cogeco internet outage: If you have a Hitron router type 192.168.0.1 into your browser search bar. Username is cusadmin and password is Cogeco1! once you login click on the Basic tab, then the DNS menu. Change DNS1 to 8.8.8.8 and DNS2 to 8.8.4.4

@UmairWasim9 @outagedetect I used Cogeco for 22 years, switched to Bell. If you look at your terms of service you'll see that Cogeco will NOT reimburse you.

@Carminevittori5 @cogeco I’ve been using cogeco for a couple years now. And literally the wifi drops all the time. It’s becomes very slow at times. I didn’t have a problem with bell at all. I switched to cogeco because it’s cheaper. And I regret it.

@Klaunderville @cogeco Try switching your DNS servers to Google's public DNS servers until Cogeco resolves their issue. It worked here in Oakville.

Great participation by students this morning in their virtual meetings. However, Cogeco internet is currently down and so things are on hold until a solution is found.
