@FinneganBC @cogeco I called and sat on hold for 20 minutes just to have @cogeco blame Burlington Hydro. A generator could probably solve the issue and not piss off thousands of their customers but what do I know...

  • PJCBTMLDOGS Paul (@PJCBTMLDOGS) reported

Good morning @cogeco @cogecohelps any chance we can get a realistic idea when we might get service back, I understand the storm but every hour the check for outages message says next hour. Just give me an honest timeline ffs.

  • kmactav 𝒌evin 𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒂𝒗ish (@kmactav) reported

Why is it that every time I check with @cogeco about my internet outage, the website tells me that they expect the problem will be resolved in *exactly* 60 minutes. 3x this morning. Now that I know this I won't need to check. It'll be fixed in 60 minutes, regardless when I ask.

  • LilSarahBelle Sarah Lecky (@LilSarahBelle) reported

@JamesConnor1999 @cogeco Are you aware the reports of hurricane force winds? With trees and poles broken and uprooted? No tornadoes but hundreds of downbursts, which causes the same type of damage.

  • TheeWhoKnocks Heisenberg (@TheeWhoKnocks) reported

@cogeco Can't watch a movie ...I have no freaking internet or cable ...horrible service!

  • InstantGrudge Dennis Forbes 🇨🇦 (@InstantGrudge) reported

@cogeco Why does your outage tool keep marking it as resolved, then adding a “new” outage. This is classic metric manipulation.

  • AGoToGuy321 AGoToGuy (@AGoToGuy321) reported

@GoBlueCdn @cogeco @cogecohelps Buy yourself an Nvidia Shield Pro and online streaming service and never look back.

  • TylerClouthier Tyler Clouthier (@TylerClouthier) reported

@cogeco I have been checking your outage page that defaults to an hour longer from the time the page loads, now its 404 after telling me my outage was resolved, Cogeco wtf you doin baby?

  • kmactav 𝒌evin 𝒎𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒂𝒗ish (@kmactav) reported

I couldn't resist. Checked @cogeco again at 8:31 am. It says the outage will be resolved at 9:31 am. It's good to know they are making progress.

12:38 am; @cogeco is back but, running 1/4 of overall speeds vs 1TB downloads that it should be. Happy to have service again after 12 hours of burning up my mobile data. Hope line strength is corrected.
