@KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Not a Karen. A Nadine and yes I'm frustrated because I work from home. Come on @cogeco . I pay $100s / month for your service. I hope this isn't because kids are online now. Should've built capacity and bandwidth into the system to manage this...

Well, #remotelearning was not the pleasant experience this morning. #frozenscreen Cogeco widespread outage. Over half the classroom couldn't attend. This house is on Bell. So kids are on a 2 hour break to see if internet issues resolved. I even did a Windows update in her laptop

If you're having problems with Cogeco internet this morning, it's a DNS problem. If you know how, log into your router and add another DNS server to your configuration (eg. 8.8.8.8 or 208.67.222.222). That should solve the problem.

@Janoallen @TekSavvyBuzz I’m with distributel using Cogeco and I also have no issues. I also pay way less than Cogeco customers....I feel like I’m a winner today lol

  • kt2g k (@kt2g) reported

@Costa_Klad @cogeco The work around fixes the problem. Manually change your dns servers to 8.8.8.8 and 4.4.4.4

  • cbarrett120206 Cathy Barrett (@cbarrett120206) reported

If you're having issues with Cogeco in St. Catherine's/Niagara area, the problem is DNS related. Just set your network DNS to something like Cloudflare ( 1.1.1.1 ) or Google ( 8.8.8.8 ) Msg me if you don't know how.
