Update 01/05/2021 4:48 PM ET : Cogeco has tweeted out that it’s resolved its network issue. The account says “if you are still experiencing No service, please reboot your modem.”

@FlamReview I do know that the Cogeco DNS was down yesterday morning. Using an alternate DNS provider was a quick workaround.

@cogecohelps @Rajawindwalker @cogeco Yeah we still dont know, what the cause the of issue was. Every message we ask is answered with reset your modem if your experiencing any problem and the original question about what happened is ignored

@cogecohelps @cogeco You should be setting the secondary dns for all customers and systems to 8.8.8.8 then if your dns goes down you have an alternative one then it would not go down like this. That is what I did to get back up and running within 20 minutes after I found out it was a dns issue
