@cogeco Is there anything that can be done to improve the stability of the system in foul weather -evenif it would take a few years to do?????

  • CanadianGamble CanadianGambler (@CanadianGamble) reported

@cogecohelps @SElsbury @cogeco Nah its everything can be the middle of summer and services go dead and then takes you guys hours to figure out the problem. Last summer they went out at least 5x for 4+ hours on bright and sunny days

  • Anthony_Bilotta Anthony Bilotta (@Anthony_Bilotta) reported

@thekage75 @cogeco I had the same issue. Site said no outage in my area. I called Tech support at 5 and they confirmed an outage. Said we should be back up by 7:00. I can confirm that didn’t happen and pretty sure it won’t be happening soon.

  • cammsouth cam jade south (@cammsouth) reported

@cogecohelps Looking like an outage for cogeco at L6H 6T7. Been out since around 2pm as far as my family and I can tell.

@cogeco can someone offer a real estimate for the outage in be smithville area… almost 24 hours now. I get there is a storm but it’s getting to be a bit much

  • nicholawalt Nichola Walt (@nicholawalt) reported

@cogeco Why not tell customers that service will be down until December 26, then if you get it working sooner you’ll look like Rock stars? Having an automated time calculating 60 mins from time of inquiry is frustrating.

  • iamjordanexpert Jordan (@iamjordanexpert) reported

@cogeco It’s been down for 24 hours now, are we to expect compensation? The other companies are fine, as they prepared for the impending weather. Why didn’t you? This can’t soley be a hydro issue as there aren’t many.

  • Pammifer Pamela Hermiston (@Pammifer) reported

@cogeco I lost power yesterday (December 23rd).. as a result i lost phone and internet. It was restored 4hours later. However I noticed that my phone service never came back. (I have internet and phone with cogeco) Is there any info on phone lines being disrupted from the storm?

  • sianson79 Steve I'Anson (@sianson79) reported

@MurphTWN Cancelled my Cogeco service call so they didn’t have to come tomorrow. Maybe ask Mark Robinson why he feels the need to be out, even in this.

  • SElsbury Scott Elsbury (@SElsbury) reported

@cogeco Let’s be honest here , if it were sunny and 20 c out you would still have outages all over the province, customer service is not a priority regardless of the weather
