Current Internet outage affecting Cogeco, Bell, Rogers and other suppliers' customers means many students and staff cannot connect for remote learning. Please be patient and learning will resume once the issue has been fixed.

@cogeco changing DNS to 8.8.8.8 in the router settings brings the internet back. Folks, go to your router settings. Find Primary DNS and type 8.8.8.8 for primary and 8.8.4.4 for secondary. Save and restart the router Cogeco: your dns servers are down

@cogeco FYI Its been pointed out that I mistyped one of the Google DNS servers. If you plan to keep using these even after the outage is resolved, I would suggest making this correction for improved reliability! They should be: 8.8.8.8 8.8.4.4 Not: 8.8.8.8 8.8.8.4 < Incorrect!

@cogeco Transparency is an amazing tool, can you share some details around the nature of the issue, and perhaps a rough eta for repair. (i.e. we are experiencing an issue with our DNS servers and estimate 1-4hrs of downtime)
