  • BenjimanPower Benjiman Power (@BenjimanPower) reported

@cogeco The issue appears to be related to DNS servers - if you set your DNS servers to Google's Public DNS your service may work. DNS server: 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4

  • Dtaylor3266 Dianna Taylor, CPA (@Dtaylor3266) reported

@cogeco All of your phone numbers are saying they are out of service. What is that about? Can’t get to your website either??

  • chiabelss Francesca (@chiabelss) reported

@cogeco I'm trying to call your customer service but it's cutting me off. It's understandable that there's technical difficulty at the moment but even calling the customer service is bad too

  • prasadnpm Naveen (@prasadnpm) reported

@MIHomeYGK i am experiencing cogeco internet issue

  • Happypaws4 Inge Happypaws4 (@Happypaws4) reported

@JeremyChafe @cogeco Having been with several providers, Cogeco is by far the best. Tech issues like this happens with all companies.

  • oskingpin oskingpin (@oskingpin) reported

@justincooke182 @cogeco Curious as to why changing the DNS resolves the issue. Does it imply that the issue is not with the internet service, rather it's with Cogeco's DNS gateway? Or do you think they took down their DNS gateway to look into an issue with their service?

  • johnran17552154 john randall (@johnran17552154) reported

@cogeco Amy further resolving the issue slowgeco

  • the_shans Shannon (@the_shans) reported

@Daniel75124110 @KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Same, switched in May for online learning/work and wish I could go back to my previous service. It was slow but worked. 1G is a joke. Had 2 modems, 2 extenders and 18 service calls. I don’t live in a cinder block house and am dead centre in the city. No excuse. Can’t wait 4 Bell!

  • EastwoodEagles Eastwood Eagles (@EastwoodEagles) reported

We understand there is a major Internet outage affecting Cogeco and possibly other supplier customers, which is affecting some staff, students and families from connecting to remote learning. We apologize for this inconvenience. Please try connecting throughout the afternoon.

@cogeco Any idea on timing for resolving the lack of service? Also perhaps listing the areas affected?
