@startca @cogeco Thanks for the response. It went up and down a couple more times but has been stable for the past half hour or so.

@cogecohelps It came back on eventually, and I reboot the modem before reaching out, which feels like a lot lately. I'll be honest, I really regret switching to Cogeco. I work from home and meetings can be tough with bad internet

(Thread cont) Seems like the acquisition of our previous provider @WOW_WAY was only good for the parent company @cogeco which is located in Canada. If you go on any social media, you will see a fiber cable is down, some one cut a fiber cable, as a “reason” as to why

@SecuriClark @cogeco Exactly. People keep blaming Cogeco when it wasn't their fault. They can't control when people want to dig without calling first. Which I don't understand. It's a FREE service to someone come out and mark where all the lines are..

@wally_statler @cogeco I'm glad that it's back up, but if the issue persists, feel free to reach out okay?

@cogecohelps please give me a human reply, not some corporate **** response as to why during a time where #Canadians are struggling to not lose their homes and feed families, Cogeco thinks they should be increasing my monthly rate by $6/month?! #cogeco

@cogeco It seems odd that 6+ hours into a major outage you are still at the “we’re investigating” stage with, apparently, no clear understanding of the cause and, for sure, no ETA of service restoration.

@RenfrewCntyScan @cogeco really ******* the pooch here. I switched to Bell Fiber in January and this is like the 6th Cogeco outage of note

Out @cogeco promotions have ended and strongly considering getting rid of cable/DVR. Want to still be able to stream some network shows. Can I pay to do this?
