@TaraJeffrey Hey Tara, my mom lived in Fairwinds. Might want to do a story on why @cogeco is charging people $ if they don't return their cable boxes in a certain amount of time. They apparently don't realize people's possessions were destroyed. @Bell is not requiring this. Cogeco is garbage.

  • rinheenan Erin Heenan (@rinheenan) reported

I’m impressed with Cogeco customer service today. They were able to improve my services and lower my bill and I won’t have to call them in 2 years as rates are locked.

  • steeenps Christine O'Brien (@steeenps) reported

Update from earlier in the week. @cogeco told us they would not be adjusting any fees for victims of the Fairwinds Fire. A free pause of service for a period of time while situation is assessed was our suggestion but they refused. #sarnia #sarniaobserver @ObserverTerry

  • RlmRob StrugglingDad (@RlmRob) reported

@cogeco @cogecohelps y’all customer service is horrible… unable to get internet with you and the only thing I was told was “we refuse to set up services at your address”… what kinda reason is that… was not given any reason as to why either…

  • ElevationMtg James | Elevation Audiovisual (@ElevationMtg) reported

@Mr_Bevers yeah I definitely should, considering cogeco just raised my rates- $102.50/mo + hst now for 180mps down/10mbps down, unlimited bandwidth (I use minimum 2000gb/mo)

  • steeenps Christine O'Brien (@steeenps) reported

Again, pausing service for free for a period of time would help confused and tired seniors and families sort out their next steps and not be charged in this stressful time. @cogeco perhaps you should reevaluate your response to tragedies such as this. 😢 Have some heart.

  • WestonNiki Niki (@WestonNiki) reported

@cogeco what’s up with the tv not working in L8G ???

  • courtneyszto Dr. "Despa"-Szto (@courtneyszto) reported

I'm on the phone with Cogeco and the person's internet is slow...they have Rogers internet 🙃

  • steeenps Christine O'Brien (@steeenps) reported

Everyone in #sarnia is helping our seniors out. @cogeco suggests paying $15 a mo to pause service until it can be transferred, if equipment not reusable it could be up to $600 (eating into limited insurance money). Relocation will have an additional fee as well.

Ohhh another dead-air hold from @cogeco Hopefully, I will be able to cancel my services tonight.
