it's crazy windy, internet is spotty, I've been having minor connectivity issues with @Cogeco since the last big storm a couple of weeks ago. I've seen installators in the area for the last week or so, hoping they're working on it. but... it's major windy today, so I can deal.

@cogeco why does your internet cut out for an entire day at least once a week in downtown Hamilton? On an unrelated note can anyone recommend a good internet provider?

  • GoCCal54 Cal Petit (@GoCCal54) reported from Hamilton, Ontario

I think it would good public relations if @cogeco would unlock all their news feeds for the Ukrainian people living in Ontario. It's very hard to decipher the garbage @CNNnewsroom spews.

@bdanks I can't even find it and I checked before the removals started (I don't use Bell, Telus, Shaw or Rogers TV). No clue if Cogeco carried it either. But hundreds of channels & I never even found it. Unsure if my provider had it. I had to see it online Don't know how it was bundled.

Nothing like a @cogeco tech deciding to use wifi for a desktop PC sitting right next to their modem with 4 unused Ethernet ports... Adding extra traffic to an already poorly planned out setup (hey let's install it in the corner of the house). Never recommended wifi pods either!

Thank you for the TV service outages @cogeco. I don’t have to watch an embarrassing loss by the Leafs tonight!

@neoengel I don't understand it either. When I worked on contract for EMC, we worked from home 2-3 days a week without issue. Even companies like Cogeco have at-home employees, unless you have to go out of your home to work, there's no reason for traditional office setups anymore
