@cogeco What we are finding is that although the computers/phones we have connected don’t work, our Amazon device still works. My son is watching YouTube on it. Not connected to our cell data signal.

@Andrade14Mike @KeeganB63977789 @cogeco Good for you. I'll am salty because I work from home and this is a constant issue. Imagine being on a conference call with a major client during a presentation you are giving and internet drops out? Not fun at all.

@cogecohelps @libraryzombie I've traced it as a DNS issue on Cogeco's end... if you change the adapter settings in Windows 10 for DNS to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.8.4, it'll work

@cogeco I get things happen. But ses every 30 days Georgetown goes down. Before it was Bell Canada's fault... Now what...? Added to fact a week I upgraded to Ultra super fast... And since day 1 best performance too date has been 100 mbps. Earliest a tech can come is Friday.

@cogeco This appears to be a DNS issue. Switching to use Google's DNS servers works for me.

@Carminevittori5 @cogeco WHY ARE WE YELLING?! But seriously. Cogeco is a business. If they fail to provide the services their customers are paying for, the customers have every right to be upset and complain. It’s not as if internet is a gift. End of the world? No. But an expectation of service.
