Zach Burke (@zachburke5075) reported from Norwich, Ontario@desxsmith @fido Ask to speak to retention and cancel your account. Frontline customer care normally can’t help and try to resolve the call quickly without normally helping the customer.

Zach Burke (@zachburke5075) reported from Norwich, Ontario@desxsmith @fido No problem. Used to work for Rogers (Fido parent company). They don’t always work but if a case is opened with the CRTC then it can be used as leverage and hopefully will sort out the issue faster. I would call them after you have filed a complaint.

Intrepid Critic (@Who_knewit) reported@Fidomobile please switch me back to LTE. This switch to "5G" has made my phone slower, everything takes longer to open, chatgpt takes forever to give answers now. Podcasts just stop streaming as I randomly lose service. Switch us back, 5G isn't ready and it sucks.

Royal Caribbean Terrier 👑 (@eranxah) reported@JollySweets @Fidomobile @VirginPlus It's ridiculous. The explanation is hilarious "in order to improve our service offering, we're charging you 5 bucks. Thanks for being a longtime customer!".

Intrepid Critic (@Who_knewit) reported@Fidomobile I understand you can’t give me specific shipping details over Twitter, and I’m not asking you to. What I am asking is whether the 1–2 day shipping timeframe that was advertised when I placed my order is still being honoured, or whether my order has actually been moved to back order. I placed the order specifically because the advertised shipping time changed from 4+ weeks to 1–2 days. Now my order says “BACK ORDERED” and “Shipping estimate: Unavailable.” If the 1–2 day timeframe I was promised at the time of purchase is being honoured, then there’s no issue. But if I’ve actually been put on back order with no shipping timeframe, I need to cancel the order. I’m simply not going to start paying for a phone I don’t have. That doesn’t make sense in any universe, and it’s not happening. My current phone works perfectly well and has plenty of storage. If this order means waiting weeks for an upgrade I only decided to buy because the advertised shipping time dropped to 1–2 days, I’ll just skip the upgrade this cycle altogether. So please just confirm whether the shipping timeframe advertised when I placed the order is still being honoured. If it is, great. If not, I’ll cancel. As I stated, I'm not going to pay off the current phone I am still using to then start paying down a phone I don't have and don't know when I'll have in my possession. I really do not appreciate the bait and switch. I watched that phone for weeks and jumped on it when the shipping time dropped to 1-2 days. In the email I received from you, it said I should expect my phone in 2-5 days, which fits with the 1-2 day shipping time. If you're unavailable to meet that for your customers, WHY was it posted online?

Prashanth Bajjuri (@PrashanthB20499) reported@Fidomobile Filing CCTS complaint. Mar 22: Promised $27/80GB. Agent ran credit check + wrong area code. Mar 24: 5hrs on calls, tech says porting impossible unless I pay $70. Cancelled, but billed $116 today (Mar 26) for UNUSED service. Void this now. #CCTS #Fido #Telecom
