@mrxisonx @Fidomobile Fido is a scam. They can't possibly charge us a fee for this. It's okay to lose service, but charging a fee is the last straw! I have a 5G-compatible phone, and they still charged me! This deserves a massive collective complaint!

@Fidomobile Considering we got our warning of this a month ago or so. I call BS on your 6 months buffer. And tacking on a 80+ fee is not customer care. It's greed. Maybe Rogers/Fido should focus less on virtue signalling and do less scummy fee's.

@Fidomobile Under my dads name and he was sick in hospital. Only communication was his email. You are disingenuous as you should have turned service off instead of trapping people into this transition fee basically you schemey slimey Big Company behavior.

@Fidomobile You never said there was an extra charge, and this isn't my fault. You're the ones to blame. I'm very upset. If you don't resolve this now, I'll have to cancel my plan.

@Fidomobile how do we make this complaint more official? this support model is unacceptable in any line of business. how do we make sure that this reaches the decision maker of Fido?
-
Saurabh Mukherjee (@saurabhmkj) reported
@Fidomobile this is a completely unethical support model. call back can be provided as an option but shouldn’t be forced to the customers.
-
Saurabh Mukherjee (@saurabhmkj) reported
@Fidomobile since you said you are real person, call back options are not for same day, it’s for after 2 days. that itself sucks. that’s the lowest level any company can go in terms of customer support. what happens if the call is missed for any reason, wait another 2 days & this goes on?
-
Saurabh Mukherjee (@saurabhmkj) reported
@Fidomobile are you a real human or a Bot with no real intelligence to understand customer requests? the whole complaint itself was about the struggle to reach the customer support.
-
Saurabh Mukherjee (@saurabhmkj) reported
@Fidomobile then? what’s the solution? are we gonna get the usual customer support?
-
Act IV (@act4sp) reported
@Fidomobile why do you force people to switch to 5G for home phone service ‘at no additional cost’, then proceed to charge $85 for the change and hang up automatically when customers call support due to ‘high call volumes’?
