@freedomsupport I've gotten this resolved to satisfaction. With that said, please make sure your people are more deliberate about mentioning these fees - I did ask over 6 hours of CS calls and 2 months trying to track this down what the complete price of the phone would be, and no mention of it

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@freedomsupport And again, I only went to store because online was impossible. I sure as **** didn't want to do in-store! It's the first time, and in light of all of this, waiving the fee does not seem like an unreasonable request. Hell, I got screwed on the $120 promo too! Loyalty be damned!

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@freedomsupport I did fortunately track one down. However, I have another question - I was told, even as a 7y+ customer at this point, that when I went to get it, there was a $30 connection fee. Care to explain what I'm paying you to connect? You handed me a device. I even have to put in the sim

  • iamgroot11 Dallas Groot (@iamgroot11) reported

So I spoke to a @freedomsupport technical suport specialist on the phone yesterday telling me I can’t use the nationwide network inside of a homezone, when ever did this policy change? It worked 2 months ago and the month before that when I tried it just fine.

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@FreedomMobile Online. in store they ding you for $30 after failing to mention this fee when asked 20 or so times about "the total cost" during customer service calls. Don't forget to mention that, eh? it's not $0, it's $30.

  • Embuscadomelde1 Saulo (@Embuscadomelde1) reported

@freedomsupport it has nothing to do with the security procedure. Before telling me they were closing, they asked me what I wanted to do. therefore, they chose the type of service to be provided.

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@freedomsupport when you'd get more - I've already been strung along by another location - the one I had to go to is quite out of the way, which basically means I got ambushed with this fee - y'all didn't do jack **** of value. not so much as installing my sim! 2/?

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@freedomsupport Come on, neither of us are that stupid. It's just you guys padding your line with fees to claim low rates. I wouldn't have even had to buy it in store if you could keep some stock online (after 2 months!), or tell me when! This is seriously gonna be your final answer then?

  • spladayum Openly Black Leopard Chow For Sale (@spladayum) reported

@clpolk @freedomsupport Mine's been that way for about a year. @googlefi has no support infrastructure that I can tell, doesn't answer emails, and is basically useless. I'm looking for a new carrier.

  • ArcticEidolon Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported

@freedomsupport Is that actually going to show on my bill? I'm not a new customer and I'm not connecting a new line. If it is, well, that's going to be a problem, and I will not accept anything but the obvious resolution if so. I'm not going to be treated like chaff as a loyal customer.
