๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ฎ ๐พ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐๐ฎ (@NienorGT) reported@sqwabb @FreedomMobile Thereโs a reason why connecting to unsecured networks arenโt a good and recommended thing. Itโs not really safe and performance will depends more on the source of the network. I know you depends on them, but changing devices might not change anything.

๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ฎ ๐พ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐๐ฎ (@NienorGT) reported@sqwabb @FreedomMobile Not surprised that you were formerly an Apple user since you were in design/art in the past. Iโm with you on the locked down iOS, I have both a Samsung and iPhone in my pocket and I wish I could combine both into one (Samsung hardware and user interface and Apple CPU and OS)

๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ฎ ๐พ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐๐ฎ (@NienorGT) reported@sqwabb @FreedomMobile Well, WiFi is much faster than the old USB 2.0 on Lightning and low end USB-C devices. This is why Apple doesnโt care about making the switch to a faster port (except iPad Pro and iPad Air 4). Because of cloud/fast internet, USB sync isnโt a priority anymore witch sucks for you.

๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ฎ ๐พ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐๐ฎ (@NienorGT) reported@sqwabb @FreedomMobile (Also, my Samsung Tab 8.4 (2020) have the worst WiFi performance of all my devices)

๐๐ค๐ข๐ข๐ฎ ๐พ๐ง๐ค๐จ๐๐ฎ (@NienorGT) reported@sqwabb @FreedomMobile Sadly, I canโt relate to your experience since I have the privilege to not depend on free WiFi. Maybe iOS is more strict than Android and thus more fussy on bad networks. But I can tell you that the hardware inside the iPad is better.

Jimbob Jones (@ArcticEidolon) reported@freedomsupport Two things: Firstly, "what the cost it" -> "what the cost is" may wanna fix the typo; secondly: it mentions texting help to a shortcode to get info... is that free, at least? How does one go about figuring out the charge *prior* to incurring it?
