@happypants41 @mickymv @FreedomMobile I have an IPhone 11 Max Pro but thanks for the tip on Androids. Still no response or update from Freedom. Again bad start for a customer who’s 3 days new

  • brungarc Bruno Garcia (@brungarc) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@freedomsupport I had no Internet last night. Even after restarting my phone as your operator suggested as a fix. This morning it works. Without any change.

  • EricaEhm Erica Ehm (@EricaEhm) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Then @FreedomMobile DMed me. They offered an IPhone XR for zero down. $10 a month for 2 years for the phone and $55 a month for the Promo Freedom plan which is 6GB plus 4B at no additional charge. That promo is locked in for 2 years. They lose $550 on the phone.

  • DominicPersaud Dominic Persaud (@DominicPersaud) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FreedomMobile I have been a loyal customer ever since the company was Wind mobile and still trust and adore the company since it has the best rates out there... please rectify this problem by tomorrow at least!

  • chimozy_charles Jaded (@chimozy_charles) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FreedomMobile , to think that the other network am coming from ported my line in minutes, and now I decided to return to my network after a day, it’s taking days to process a port request to my old number is really sad.

  • GwapogiTalaga Nunya Biznez (@GwapogiTalaga) reported from Toronto, Ontario

It's curious: of all the carriers I spoke with, @FidoMobile was able to offer what I was getting with @FreedomMobile. Same cost, same data, same service, same basically everything. Best thing is: it's on postpaid, which will help me in the long run.

  • renanledoux Renan Ledoux (@renanledoux) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FreedomMobile I’m uber driver and I couldnt work this morning because of the internet issues, I rely on that to be able to make money. #notcoolfreedom

  • GwapogiTalaga Nunya Biznez (@GwapogiTalaga) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@jacklynthinks @RogersHelps @FreedomMobile @Rogers Wrong, Skippy. You said they RUN on the same network, not that their owned by those telcos. PC Mobile runs off Bell's network but is owned by Loaws. Petro Canada has service but its run off Rogers. Their own company tho.

  • Coehmer Carrie Oehm (@Coehmer) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@freedomsupport I love when your costumer service reps yell at me! I also love spending 3 hours on the phone with your customer service reps that can’t do anything :)

  • GwapogiTalaga Nunya Biznez (@GwapogiTalaga) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Visited #Rogers302 today. I'll never understand why their prepaid rates are so ridiculously high compared to @FreedomMobile.

  • davhuh memo (@davhuh) reported from Aurora, Ontario

@FreedomMobile service is unusable along the @GOtransitBR from Union to Rutherford and additional pockets to Newmarket.

  • HalsyBear Haleigh Ní Mhacháin (@HalsyBear) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@freedomsupport Hi, I sent a direct message about my service not being renewed this month even though my auto pay top up was complete - can you please check your messages 😀

  • chocolatmilq kiki enen-MOR🦋 (@chocolatmilq) reported from Toronto, Ontario

    @Andrew48289584 @FreedomMobile If I wasn’t poor I would have left freedom. And I know 😒

  • YashYanthi Yashy Murphy (@YashYanthi) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@bijuleni @zamlos I've had the low speed option for years now and haven't had any issues tbh. I first had it with @FreedomMobile and now with the @Rogers infinite family plan. I also jump on wifi when traveling and usually buy a local SIM if I'm somewhere for more than 10 days.

  • MichCWilliamson Michelle Williamson (@MichCWilliamson) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@EricaEhm @FreedomMobile Good choice! We switched our teen to @FreedomMobile a few months ago and no issues with service. I’m following as soon as I can get out of my Bell contract. 😕

  • BarackOTrauma Taige Smith (@BarackOTrauma) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FreedomMobile so how do you guys compensate for this bullshit, this is the second time in a month I’m stuck without service , you guys need to start giving back because you guys are real quick to take.

  • Beautylicious82 Terri Dorrington (@Beautylicious82) reported from Toronto, Ontario

If your a @freedomsupport @FreedomMobile Prepaid monthly customer whatever you do. . . DO NOT JOIN A MONTHLY PLAN!!!!! I can’t believe I now have two issues with this company after trying to migrate to a monthly bill. F’D UP! Never make deals on friday the 13th! Never Do MONTHLY

  • prguy1968 Vince J Ciarlo (@prguy1968) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Freedom Mobile Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • MlleCheeatow Tiffany Chee-a-tow (@MlleCheeatow) reported

If I KNEW I would have! Never been treated like this in my 7 years as a loyal @FreedomMobile customer 😡 I felt like a small child being scolded with 0 empathy or compassion.

  • djmrstylus Call me Mr. (@djmrstylus) reported

@FreedomMobile do you have any Canadian customer service reps? @CRTCeng @CanadaGovNews

  • MlleCheeatow Tiffany Chee-a-tow (@MlleCheeatow) reported

Just a heads up that @FreedomMobile changed the way they charge for data roaming and I was hit with a $94 charge for a DAY TRIP to Buffalo. But don’t worry, customer service was able to knock $30 off of that while they kept telling me “next time buy an add on”

  • Rootbrian_ GNU/Linux-using Rootbrian's updates and thoughts (@Rootbrian_) reported

@askmewhatdeezis @LFalasca @FreedomMobile If you're talking about the outage, that I can understand. One removes the key (sim) to the network from the slot, and then you *can* call 9-1-1, since it'll connect to any available working network, that being bell or telus in that case.

  • DDeenie Dee Mo (@DDeenie) reported

@FreedomMobile has provided quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They have admitted that their insurance carrier @likewize is not providing the service we thought we were paying for but are unable to provide an acceptable solution.

  • abh1kashyap Abhishek (@abh1kashyap) reported

@freedomsupport your customer service sucks, you rip off customers, I am been charged for incoming call and Victor from customer care says he can’t do anything about it

  • DDeenie Dee Mo (@DDeenie) reported

@freedomsupport provides terrible service. Their insurance provider, Likewize, has no option for in person repairs in the lower mainland of BC. @FreedomMobile cannot offer a reasonable alternate solution to the problem.Don’t use them as a provider or buy the insurance.

  • raminbourne Ramin Bourne (@raminbourne) reported

@peternowak I needed a second line - was told WiFi calling wasn’t supported for prepaid plans! Asked me to switch to Telus. I switched to @FreedomMobile ! On another note, noticed FM service quality has changed a lot - I may even switch my primary line from Telus to FM!

  • Rootbrian_ GNU/Linux-using Rootbrian's updates and thoughts (@Rootbrian_) reported

@SweetSourcream3 @FreedomMobile You don't need to change your plan. If you want a lower tab rate, make a down-payment towards the device (50-75% is best). It's what I would do.

  • savouxx savouxx ☁️ (@savouxx) reported

@freedomsupport Unlimited data shouldn’t slow down after the data bucket is used as it originally did when wind was your company. I hate the change. It’s not unlimited when the lte speeds are unusable. Just a thought.
