  Glad I’m not @Rogers customer. I dumped them long ago. They’ll give 2 days of credit to customers. Imagine running a retail store and loosing two days of business. How much is that compared to prorated 2 days of internet credit. @CRTCeng has to act. Wait! They were didn’t too lol

  @georganneb @Rogers Our old home alarm stopped working. We wanted Rogers to quote us a price for a new alarm system and monthly service fee for new system. Took weeks of calls with different people at Rogers. They don’t know what they are doing. Finally got it done.

  @JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Used to work in call centre's and I can answer this. Lower wages. Cheaper to have phone support in countries that pay WAY LESS THAN CANADA. 2/hour in many places.

  So I was part of internet outage that affected parts of Ottawa. @Rogers claimed the outage was due to vandalism. I called the Rogers 800 number and was greeted by an AI chatbot. Rogers has laid off 900-1000 employees and are now using AI. Not cool.

  OMG @Rogers is such a piece of **** company. They completely changed their 611 dial in system to pay an account to AI to make things exponentially more difficult. Previously I could type in a few Numbers baddy bing baddy boom done finito get on with my day. Nope now I gotta AI
