So Canadians have some of the most expensive phone plans in the world yet @RogersHelps can't maintain service... American plans range around 25 bucks a month for true unlimited data etc.

Best part of my day? Eight calls to @TELUSsupport because my Telus tech showed up this morning to do an install and left without getting in the building. Apparently, he’s the only person in the world unaware that the @rogers network is down and you can’t reach people by phone.

@RogersHelps ok, my home wifi is the new one with Ignite TV, also I live in a area that was lucky that didn't lose power, so I'm ok. And my phone is a little old (6 years) that using wifi on the phone is almost impossible and very slow, I would need a new phone soon.

@Rogers I would love to believe that that would be the simple solution but the modem has been replaced multiple times, techs have been out, our internet has been "monitored" and "fixed" before, yet you still offer sub-par service and it still goes out with no rhyme or reason.

@RogersHelps So turns out I *can* swap at a store. After talking to retention (who didn't give me a specific date) they put me back through to tech support, who did a reset and said I could just swap in store if it's still acting up. Called store to confirm.
