@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers CRTC is a total "Old Boys' Club," controlled by ex-telecom industry executives. They are there to help their buddies and their stock portfolios, not consumers. That is why Canadians pay 3-4x more for cell phone and Internet service than consumers in the US.

@RogersHelps @Rogers I’m planning to move to a new address & you’re not able to same Internet service in the new location and giving me option either to downgrade or exit the contract and ask me to the early termination. For a network limitation at your end you imposing on me .

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers They all have their call center agents out of the country to save money but I wonder how much they save when customers leave because of the bad experience

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers I just today switched from @Rogers after being a loyal customer for 15+ years. Their latest $5 increase scam was enough for me to move to a better carrier.

@Rogers is a ****** joke pay all this money for garbage service and no help whe calling in @fordnation a joke to with all this money we pay for trash service and being over charged he says he for the people but never helps which people you for your family only?

  • sweet_tooth19
    Sweet Tooth  (@sweet_tooth19) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @mike_kozar @Rogers They outsourced all their call centers to be in Casablanca and also India. So much for them promoting 100% Canadian call centers. Back in the day, they used to answer the phone with “you’ve reached Jane in Moncton, how can I help you?” Notice how that is gone?

  • ItsReallyAmber
    ambam (@ItsReallyAmber) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Rogers was one of the last of the big 3 who had all their customer service agents in Canada. Covid hit. Shaw merger happened. Ceo changed and they wanted a bigger profit so they laid off a majority of the Canadian staff in favour of the cheaper labour outside of north america

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Lol go tell that to the board of directors then. You think these people give a ****? It's all about the bottom line

  • LindsayWiebeRD

@Rogers @RogersHelps I’m officially cancelling my internet tomorrow. $100+ for mediocre service is not great. If you want to lower my plan, cool. If not we are changing.

@Rogers WiFi keeps going down. ZERO customer service. Fired Canadian workers so we could wait 3 hrs to talk to someone you can't understand. Even your AI Anna is slow. Third world internet, out of this world costs. Canadians deserve better.
