Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Brad5haw93 Josh Bradshaw (@Brad5haw93) reported

@RogersHelps It sucks when two companies monopolize an entire nation’s telecom industry and can’t even consistently keep things running.

  • CharlotteAsks Charlotte in Toronto | BLM | Stop Asian Hate (@CharlotteAsks) reported

@Rogers Almost 24h down for some people. No one would really have gotten any updates if they didn’t follow on Twitter. To not even receive an email or a text of what was going on is pretty insulting.

  • Shuguli5 Shuguli (@Shuguli5) reported

@Rogers Still not working for me, restarted my phone and everything.

  • valdezsays Aaron Valdez (@valdezsays) reported

@ItsDeanBlundell @CarymaRules @Rogers I see this Chris Sky guy and I really hope that there actually is a microchip in the vaccine. Maybe one that would prevent the rest of the intelligent population from ever becoming as completely ******* stupid as this guy.

  • stilez Stilez (@stilez) reported

@smiler2729 @RogersHelps It'll only be $2 or so. Take your monthly plan (say $60/mth) ÷ 30days =$2/day. So because it was down 24hrs, you'll only get a $2 rebate. Better to ask for free data or something else

@Rogers I was stranded in pemberton looking for address for deliveries.... couldn’t even call dispatch. Found a gas station driving around they wouldn’t let me use their phone.. this was a horrible day for everyone you need an alert saying we’re going to **** you up.

  • BlueCollarElec Ken Rogers (@BlueCollarElec) reported

@Rogers I literally lost a days worth of business because of this. Totally unacceptable. I can only hope there wasn’t people stuck in emergency situations that desperately needed to call someone.

  • Hache_Sebastien Sebas1509 (@Hache_Sebastien) reported

@Rogers You better compensate everyone for the work they couldn’t get done because of your ******. It’s most definitely not for the customers to pay for your partner being dumb and pushing an update they knew was unstable.

  • Karan23633497 Karan (@Karan23633497) reported

@Rogers rogers should compensate people like me who' lost so much because of outage for so long. I totally depends on your cellular data and pay for it but lost income so please compensate people like me

@leckie_sean @oxfordliving @RogersHelps The issue is who approved a global firmware rollout without secondary approval. Or, what was the root cause. Dev/Engineer here as well and this one really has me wondering what happened. My guess: firmware for another network was pushed to overwrite Rogers Public ID's
